I'm still curious at how Pinprik went undefeated at the last tourney in NYC. Its an autolose to over half the popular decks... did it by a stroke of luck not see a single deck with burn?

What was hilarious is that if you read it closely it was obviously fake, but everyone just drunk it up anyway.  Most of his round by round match reports made absolutely no logical sense, and his opponents had obviously made up joke names, among other things.

apologies to blair, its not your fault someone shot out a fake report. i personally favor your and mike rosenburgs articles most, for being well written and in depth with the current meta in mind. blair dont take it to heart.

Don't count out the element of surprise, Pinprik looks really bad in the current meta; so seeing him would be a surprise.

So now you have a choice, pack extra DD or carry on as you were. In the latter case there are obviously going to be cards that autowin against him. If you don't pack DD you'd seriously have to consider it now, some decks I've met (granted in casual play) would likely have to start digging for burn from turn 1.

Will be playing Pinprick tonight and running it against a bunch of friends. Guaranteed they'll be sidedecking the second game - and it's enough for me to cause them the bother :)

i mean, he can only stand a chance against melee classes and what r the odds, in a tourney, of u only facing melee classes???

Well, most 'melee classes' do run direct damage nowadays. Sinister Strikes for combat rogues and Mortal Strikes for warriors. Probably the only one which will run into trouble is Reesa the Leper Queen with only Gut Shots as direct damage.
