Re: FAQ: WoW TCG - What we know so far

    What are loot cards?
Loot cards are going to be ultra-rare inserts into packs and will feature a scratch off code that you can redeem in the WoW videogame for cosmetic upgrades.

Some more info --> There are 3 different loot cards in set one. Each one will get you an in-game cosmetic item for the online game. We'll announce these in the coming weeks.

    Other FAQ items:

The first offical big tournaments in the USA will be at Gen Con So Cal. Upper Deck Entertainment will have some very cool prizes available for players, whether they are new players or exeperienced TCG players.

More about races: The race (and class) of your starting hero will affect their life total. So, a Tauren Warrior will general have the highest life and a Gnome Mage would generally have the lowest life. Of course their hero ability and the cards they have access to will compensate for the difference. (Example: Mages have Frost Nova, which is an incredibly defensive card).

Seconded. If any of the current threads deserve a sticky, it's this one.

Re: FAQ: WoW TCG - What we know so far

    Some clarifications:

Allies in the first set have between 1 and 8 health, but most have between 1 and 4 health.

There will be no foil cards in the first set, although the treasure packs will be foil in the raid decks. So you could get a foil Onxyia Hide Backpack or foil Eskhandar's Collar when you kill Onyxia.

I will try and get your post stickied, although I am not a moderator on this account yet.

Huzzah! That's a bit of a disapointment about no foils in the first set, but maybe that will change with future expansions?

Added another German fan site.  Apparently this is going to be bigger than David Hasselhoff over there.
