Re: Fair Lawn, NJ Weekly Tournaments!!

Last week we had a record turnout w/ 13 people showing up to play some WoW!  Things are really starting to pick up and will only grow further when tournaments become sanctioned in the coming weeks!  So come on out, every thursday at Gamber's Gambit in Fair Lawn!  As per usual we will either draft or play constructed based on group consensus (generally if people want to play constructed we will default to that).

Come on down and play some WoW tonight...  The group includes players of all skill levels and we always have a blast.

Last chance to test before Nationals!  Come out tonight and bring your trade stuff!

Next week will likely not be a tournament as most of the regulars will be at GenCon for WoW Nationals so.. come out and get your WoW fix tonight!  7 PM at Gamer's Gambit.

You know what times it is... time for the weekly tournament at Gamer's Gambit, tomorrow (thursday!) at 7 PM.  Jayson and I both took off last thursday after GenCon tired us out, but there was still a decent turnout of 6 people which bodes well for this week!  Bring a constructed deck (no fires! it's not legal yet) and some money in case we decide to draft.  See you then.

Barring a draft that says otherwise, I will not be playing Gorebelly this evening, so you really should head out to Gamer's Gambit for WoW tonight if for no other reason than to see what else I come up with.

Tomorrow will be another draft at Gamer's Gambit.  Last week we had a nice 8-man draft that saw me draft the worst deck in history (I will attempt not to out-do myself this week).  The following week we will play constructed (Sept. 13th) which will be the 1st tournament we have w/ Fires of Outland legal!  Hope to see you all there.

You mean you drafted a deck that doesn't use Marova?

That is clearly where I went wrong... if only I could have paid 10 and flipped my hero to kill a 1 health ally I would have been in far better shape.

Morova made a triumphant return to my side of the table last night!  Just thought you all should know, flipping for the win never felt so sweet!

Next week (thursday sept. 13th) will be the 1st constructed tournament w/ Fires legal!  Everyone should come out.

Time for the weekly tournament at Gamer's Gambit in Fair Lawn.  I believe we're scheduled for a draft but ya never know... bring a constructed deck (I'm bringing a new deck that I want to try out anyway).  See you there, 7 PM tonight!

Re: Fair Lawn, NJ Weekly Tournaments!!

Just in case you were wondering... yes there is another weekly event at Gamers Gambit tonight!  It is scheduled to be constructed, starting at 7 PM as per usual.  We have been getting a nice consistent turnout every week but we'd love to have a few more people show!  So come on out!  See you there.

I'm impressed by the hard work you're putting into the community over there, keep it up.
    I'm not very good.

Re: Fair Lawn, NJ Weekly Tournaments!!

Most of the credit goes to the folks at Gamer's Gambit who so kindly host us every week and took the effort to get sanctioned events running.  It's a great store and they do a lot to support the game.

Last week's draft went well, we even had 1 new player who promises to become a regular so things are looking up!  Once again everyone forced me to play Morova but sadly I only got to flip in 1 of my games :(.

This week is a return to constructed!  I will be sporting a new deck that is sure to be annoying.  Possibly even Jayson will build a new deck (thought not very likely).  Usual time, 7 PM, see ya there!
