    In defense of rogues and their dps (I can not believe I am going to defend wow rogues) lets take a step back.  First of all rogues can put on the boots and be fluxed too.  But, try this out for rogue DPS.  Zomm with boots adjacent to thrall is 1 tick for five dice.  That is very good dps considering that you can take away their armor with the correct build.  Just throwing that out there.

    Re: Jaina Savin Vi'gor

    Hmm, 5 dice every 1 tick with no need for flux and an extra ABC for Zomm, or 6 dice every 2 ticks with a strong chance of another 6 on crit?  You have to bring flux, but on the other hand Vi'gors body is much stronger than Zomms (3-3-9 vs 2-3-7).  Can someone tell me the odds of critting with 6 dice and arcane flux? Even if he does crit over 2 ticks you are only getting 2 extra dice and you lose the mobility of moving every turn.  Plus again there is that extra ABC.  Something I will have to try.

    Master Tactician and Rexxar...

    I like to put Blessing of Might on savin to buff vigor sometimes, and change the Flux for Ice block on Jaina or other spell like polimorph

    Zomm also may be in a party running armor debuff.  Example, Zomm, wilton, thrall.  Zomm packs expose wilton packs sunder, expose again on tick five 5.  Wilton may crit as well.  Now thrall, zomm and wilton may be ganging up on a character with zero armor.  17 total dice on a zero armor character. hmn........I like this.  WOw!  I just realized that this party is only twenty honor!  Yes I like this!

    The one thing about Boots, is that for a player who plays stealth characters often (for some reason I love rogues) it feels like 1 honor so you can play more crappy. It is also so easilly countered by either moving 2 squares away, or moving a second character in. They are great, but not the be all, end all.

    Also, as I mentioned on reaction to the article made. Crits are nice, Bulwark are a killer for that team.

    Vi'gor shines even more if you put him with a rogue and warrior for 2 armor debuffs. Rather attack against 2 less armor then have 1 more dice from Jaina. Also, the rogue and warrior ABCs can be used for all other kinds of things: breaking enemy lines, moving into sprint, etc.

    Oh.. and one final word: Dralor does the same as Jaina does for Vi'gor in this team. But he is tougher then Jaina, also a melee character with a 2 tick attack, gives an armor debuff and other cool rogue ABCs and doesnt give 8 honor to your enemy when killed.

    Agreed. They are great, but not the be all, end all.

    ??? You don't use Vi'gor to attack the guy holding Bulwark.. in the case of VelenWall team, Vi'gor would go for Velen... its easy to get thru taunt.. esp with vi'gor high def stats.

    Vi'gor does shine if you put him with a rogue and warrior or with Dralor but the whole idea here is kinda different from yours thou. Jaina was here because of a few reason;
    1.Victory of alliance to give +1 attk;
    2. Mage to offer Arcane flux to greatly improve Vi'gor or later Jaina herself crit chance;
    3. Water E is awesome isn't it? ^^
    4. A range Magic attack.
    5. with the combine of Savin, Jaina can create lotsa of pressure via her 1t4d AoE and been protected by Savin's Bulwark in return

    another word, the AoE is extremely great against Blessing of Sacrifice.

    and with all those 1tick 2tick fast attack, Vi'gor in-built ability "heal on crit" works wonderfully, especially with those high defense stats to survive longer and also a soft-counter for Sulfuras, The hand of rag 1dmg.

    just my2cents. ^^ /cheers

    Re: Jaina Savin Vi'gor

    I agree that boots are not the end all be all.  I do not have them or play them.  When I have proxied them my enemies had no real issue dealing with them.  But, When discussing Zomm you have the extra spot and his low attack really needs the boost.  Sha'Do has better boots for no honor but, he loses them after round one.  If you run Dralor you will find that you will indeed be giving eight honor to your enemy as Dralor will die at least twice.  When I run Jaina she almost never dies.  I too run warrior/ rogue, and think that druids do have great synergy with Rogues.  Warroir/Rogue also, has some great anti healing tech that is not seeing play.  I personally would not worry about bulwork v rugue/warroir as Rogue/ warroir can strip the armor away much faster than you might think.  I have had many games where a four armor enemy has no armor going into round two.  I do like Druids/Rogue builds: Especially cat form and distract.  I will have to play with this idea as I have never played Vi'gor.
