Sorry to bump an old thread but now that the tournament is only 7 months away I thought there might be some more info?

You're kidding, right? There are sooo many DMFs before Vegas that I don't think we have to worry about Vegas yet.

ONLY 7 months is a very relative term :)

    Cheers.

Some people can only attend one DMF a year (if that), and believe it or not we may need to plan for it.  So aaaaaallllllllll those other DMF don't mean anything if the one you are attending is the Vegas one.  Especially considering because of the cheapness of travel to Vegas, and the cheapness of hotels there, this may be one of the most anticipated DMF's all year.

Yes, seven months is a long time relative to how UDE usually does things, but I don't think it's out of line to ask for any specifics available.  The real problem is that that DMF is after Worlds, so until that info gets released I think we are out of luck.

This will be the only DMF that I'll be attending too, I plan on meeting up with a whole bunch of online friends this week, it's gonna be a blast.  So true about the cost to travel to Vegas, they have some of the cheapest airfares, if not the cheapest.

Trains, Planes, or Automobiles...you better have my DOUGHnuts.

    Re: DMF Las Vegas 09'

Is this going to be off the beaten path, Like DMF SF, or the ashenvale Realm Chapionships?  I can just imagine it being out in the desert by a firecracker shop, with no easy means to get there..

Please give me a good excuse to go to Vegas, and have it near the strip... PLEASE!  It will give me validation to spend money on a flight and hotel.. If I can't win playing cards, I can go lose money playing cards across the hall.

    Hello all,

We understand that many people have a more difficult traveling than others.  For many players Las Vegas is an easier location to travel too.

Our staff is diligently working on getting the information for Las Vegas ironed out for this event.  As soon as the plans are solidified we will get the date and hotel for this event posted so everyone can make their travel plans.

I'm sorry we don't have more information available at this time, but as soon as we do we will share it with the community.

I do not think it is possible to have a worse location then DMF SF but I hope UDE does not take this up as a challenge.

Personally I will never book plans for a DMF again before I know exactly where it is going to be.

edit - also I am very interested in knowing the format. I hear it may be one set sealed like DMF Anaheim which I think would be awful. The west coast got stuck with the last one set sealed please do not do it to us again. Least make it draft if you feel the absolute need to make it limited again or let it be sealed for Drums block.

Was DMF:SF in a bad place? I thought it was pretty nice. There wasn't any food close by but calling the pizza place down the way was pretty easy. I'm not sure why you thought it was a bad place to hold the DMF

    Re: DMF Las Vegas 09'

Honestly the food situation was horrible!  There was nothing close by and the cab drivers were horrible, oh you were drinking that night David, don't quite remember do ya.

Over all the hotel was very nice and was well situated.  Free water all day was nice too.

If there would have been a store in walking distance it would have been great.
