Not too shabby. A Rogue deck with protector allies to keep them off of your hero, so you can go around poking theirs in the eye with broken glass.  Brillant!

that wouldnt work on the enemy hero thou, they dont exactly get gouged do they? they can go as long as you have resources and weapon/spell/armour to use... would be a great way to kill an ally like thrall/magni thou

Of course it'd work, Gouge exhausts target hero or ally, so you'd be able to combo off this nicely. Sure, they can counter your gouge, but that's what these games are all about, timing your moves.

As soon as you have 3 resources on the table, you've got a shanker and a gouge, then it's all stabby stabby from there. Your opponent has a choice: Take the hits or Concentrate on locking down enemy hero.

Item meta is going to be extremely important in WoW:TCG, especially with the power of armour and now the weapons we're seeing. Hope there's enough of it to go round :P

Average? mm not really buying it. If your opponet striked when he  attacked last turn or has no weapon at all. 4 damage is'n too shabby imho with nearly little risk to use it. But we still have yet to see the whole set so it might even be below average or above.

I think its the best counter weapon we have seen. Whenever anyone want to attack your hero he has to exhaust, which means that you strike 4 damage back for 2 resources on his turn, and then on your turn you can try to attack him and dealing him again 4 damange for 2 ressources. Perhaps this isnt the best card, but it surely has potential !

Dont you have to exhaust a character to use protector? Means you do more damage if your opponent uses a character to defend their other characters.

As for duel wield, I assume it will simply be a card that lets rogues use 2 daggers.

I hope they'll be daggers for mage, priests and warlocks. One of the most surprising thing in the online game is when an out of mana cloth-character comes with his 300/300 weapon and beats you.

But I'm confident, as warriors and hunters can also fight with a dagger, I just assume that this one is a rogue ability incrusted in a weapon card.

Nope, not quite. Barman Shanker only gets the ATK +2 when your hero is attacking. Otherwise it would be an extremely powerful card. Of course if they made a weapon like that I'm sure they will start making cards that don't exhaust to attack, if they haven't already.

Don't know what you're talking about.
And none of us have rogue chars as their mains in WoW...

But yes, this looks very similar in execution to BSD from Warlord, and will suffer all the same troubles that does. Great if your opponent's win strategy relies on them exhausting their cards or you can pack enough forced exhausts without bending you deck out of shape.

Not so good if you have to include so many 'exhaust' cards that you sacrifice damage/survivability against decks that don't leave a suitable window of opportunity.

Ironically, from what I've seen so far it seems rogues will have trouble versus shamans (they ready themselves) and mages (who rely on abilities to deal damage hence do not need to attack/exhaust themselves) whilst will have an easy time versus warriors (as they exhaust to protect) - a situation somewhat reversed from the MMO experience!
