    But not on Facebook!

I think people are forgetting that the H vs A stuff is most likely aimed at casual players. I mean, if you think about the two daggers, compare them to Ashtongue Blade (which is played in Daspien). 1 attack 0 swing for 2 resources, with an added bonus effect.

Not sure i like Tarren Mill and Southshore though, bad memories...

Re: Drums of War preview: Player vs. Player Hater

I think the preview is just good enough to keep you looking for more. And yes the possibilities are coming together even with the limited number of cards previewed.

I personally think that Barov Brothers are good being epic rares and their stats are hefty enough to make them efficient. Allies with bonuses tend to be the better of the previewed cards right now. The locations still have me concerned, as only one can be face up at a time (correct me if I am wrong).

Down to a couple of weeks before Pre-release. And I am already having problems focusing. Vision is getting blurry and I keep forgetting what I was doing.

Re: Drums of War preview: Player vs. Player Hater

My main concern is how since the barov's are

    A: Low-cost to play
    B: Usable
    C: epic,

Many people will probably want 3-4 in their deck simply because its good, some will want them for combo engines, and before you know it it's another cool card I can't afford to get a playset of.

Still, I loved the preview cards overall.

I actually think that hillsbrad could really have some serious chops in horde rush stylings (but, this is always dependent on the meta, if solo makes a breakout this could make for a total dead card)

To be honest, the UD one should also have had "when he enters play, put 3 1/1 etc", and then had start of turn. The alliance dude gives you an immediate effect.

So this is just my opinion but i don't think that the preview cards are very good. The Barovs aren't that bad (hence there epicness) but the locations and daggers will only be used often in sealed. I can't wait for the pre realease though.... Always fun.

No, but she also doesn't have a class and she can use other weapons. Her text says that she can use "any Melee weapon," but also no "cards with reputation or text restrictions." As long as the Horde icon doesn't count as a reputation or text restriction (which I believe it does not, since it doesn't say "reputation," nor is it in the text), she should be able to use the card.

From the glossary to the comprehensive rules:

"Trait Icon (100.2a): Many cards have trait icons. A player can include a card with one or more class icons in his or her deck only if it shares a class icon with his or her hero. A player can include a card with one or more faction icons in his or her deck only if it shares a faction icon with his or her hero. Cards with no trait icons can be included in any deck."

The horde icon is a trait restriction - the card is restricted to horde heroes.

Re: Drums of War preview: Player vs. Player Hater

I disagree.  The horde icon is a a trait restriction in exactly the same way that class icons are trait restrictions.  Misery ignores icons.  All that matter is if there is text that says "x hero required".  If there is such text, Misery cannot use the card.  If there is no such text (as there is not for these daggers), then Misery can use it.
