How to use the Enraged fire Spirid

I have a question about the area of effect of the spirit. The faqs have changed many times and now this miniature is not as it should be played. Does it hurt when you approach your enemy or when the enemy approaches you? Or in both cases it hurts?

    Thanks

For it's ability to trigger, an enemy has to move into a space adjacent to the enraged fire spirit.  So, opposing characters have to move (or be moved) and that does not include teleportation.

If I control a Enraged Fire Spirit and one of your characters moves into an adjacent space, they will take damage. If my Enraged Fire Spirit moves into an adjacent space, next to one of your minis, they will not take damage.

Syphon is absolutely correct on teleportation too, and this was an early game confusion point, as teleportation is different, if you teleport into a space adjacent to an enemy Enraged Fire Spirit, your character takes no damage.
