With Kit #11 Achievements starting to be up fro grabs starting yesterday, I had a look over them, and noticed that Death Knights were still the vogue for this cycle. I had a read of one of them, and thought it was 'Play 5 Death Knights in a single game', but later realized that it was 'Have 5 Death Knights in play...'. Yikes. Anyway, the build remained the same. There are the 'Win with a DK Hero' and 'Deal Fatal Damage with a DK', so we could be setting ourselves up for 3 Achievements. Who knows, we also might be able to pull off 'Win with 1 Health remaining..' :)
So, Horde or Alliance? I looked over the DK Allies and thought that with Vanessa in the horde mix, it looked much stronger. She's more likely to stay out for a while also, because they might not want to see a Ghoul in her place. Horde also have some good generic allies (Tatulla, Doshura etc.).
We'll also go with what I think are the best DK Abilities, and throw in some of the best weapons in the game for a good mix.

So, how did we do? I played last night versus Matt's Priest Troll Deck.
Game 1 I managed to keep things under control with BT, and Icy Touch and Tatulla etc.Vanessas were the MVPs as they beat on the hero. Then, when I got to 10 resources, it was Jon'Rohk, swing, and bye bye little Priesty :)
Game 2, I was going hard for 5 DKs in play at one time. I sided in Owned! and it was great to remove Warcaller Z and Vol'Jin. However, Matt was getting lots of damage on me. About turn 9, I did empty 4 DK allies onto the field, and thus got the 5 DKs in play Achievement, but lost the next turn.
Game 3 didn't really matter, but we played it out, and again it was just survive until 10 or so resources, and then Jon'Rohk FTW.
So, I got the 3 Achievements. Win with DK (Check). Fatal with DK (Check). Five DKs in Play (Check).
