I found decks that can handle Black Temple: Epic Mode

I have been thinking a while on how to deal with Black Temple: Epic Mode. I have come close:

Warlock: Using Sarmoth and Fel Pact to force the boss and allies to attack this ally. Curse of Weakness to stop boss characters from attacking. Great for late game. Lots and lots of protectors.

Mage - Standard interrupting cards to stop those annoying abilities from reaching the table. Plus protecting cards from death. Also using frost to stop attacking bosses or allies.

Druid - Straight up healer. That is all he does.

Warrior - Dishing out massive damage with his weapons. The tank. Armor and weapons.

Hunter - Using the Phase Hound/Biscuit combo with ways of untapping him to attack again. Have weapons in the deck for support.

I thought about a direct damage Shaman to replace the Warlock for added damaging support. I have yet to try it. I think it would be ok, but I find that stopping boss attacks is better.

With the above decks, I got through everything and got the Betrayer down to 43 damage. One more turn and I would have won. The trouble is those damn events he has. 20 damage to everything sucks.

    Suggestions welcome.

3 disc priests, all with Enlightenment and heals.  Never kill Naj'entus.  Grats?
Just keep adding syllables. I'll tell you when to stop.

Hmmmm, never thought of Enlightenment. That would be interesting.

    I am offended, no rogue?

Mass ally removal and hand control from the rogue. Because all of the allies in the raid depict 'no' or 'zero' cost carnage can clear the field on turn 5.

I thought the only way to win a raid was to deal 'fatal' damage to the final boss?

Re: I found decks that can handle Black Temple: Epic Mode

You can only win a raid by dealing fatal damage to the last boss/stage. And the only way to destroy a boss is with fatal damage. Basically, Enlightenment doesn't beat Black Temple.

Ah, so Enlightenment doesn't win. Interesting idea though.
I did forget about the Rogue.
Could you play with Illidian Stormrage Master Hero against the Black Temple Raid deck?

Re: I found decks that can handle Black Temple: Epic Mode

Yes, you could do that. However, if I remember correctly, the final boss has an even that says something along the lines of 'Call a number greater than 0. Destroy all opposing cards with that cost.' So the boss can call 11 and destroy your hero.

Too bad. Illidian Stormrage would have been a cool idea. Forgot about that stupid event.
Could Arcane Torrent work on the event cards?

Event cards cannot be touched at all.
What you can always do is setup a team of myriams and inspires with some +health to keep em bulky, and pray to god Illidan doesn't get his number calling event xD

Re: I found decks that can handle Black Temple: Epic Mode

We are talking about a 3 player team raid, impossible to down black temple: epic mode.
If the epic mode is really modded properly, you cant even touch Shade of Akama,

With my luck, i'd be playing the hero with Illidan and be killed XD.

We can beat black temple with 4 players easy, also 3 would be quite doable, only we play it normal way like it is in rules, but i dont know what is epic mode? Can anyone explain?

Epic mode is basically a modified Black Temple deck with 'Any number of Traitor, Black Temple, Event Cards, and any number of Minions (which includes ANY ally labeled as a traitor) none of which have a deck size limit. This mode is designed specifically not to be balanced or fair to the raiding players. Basically, to make it an epic mode, one would buy a second copy of the Black Temple raid deck and slap all the cards minus the heroes into the original, effectively doubling their deck size. The person constructing the epic mode can pick and choose what they want to make the epic mode with as well, so they could simply double the amount of Black Temple cards that they find useful and just not add the ones they find useless. (Such as the interrupt, this would be the FIRST card I added more of to a Black Temple raid deck.)
