    Velen Wall Repainted

I did this a while ago, but never got around to posting it here. I actually played with these repainted like this at Continentals, but they didn't quite make the cut for the top 8.

No offense but I prefer the original colour scheme

    Love em, CorayThan!

They really compliment your style, and the almost death knight-like look makes them ultimately badass.

    Cheers!

Very nice.  I love seeing some good repaints.

I never really noticed, but with some work I almost think someone could repaint Velen to be Santa Velen for Christmas.

I like the Graccus best - looks like the Black Prince or something.  The black armor looks good on Savin too.

    Nice work dude!

    yo, nathan. its morgan.

i am going to start off by saying not bad......but

those dont look any better then the job those chinese sweatshop workers are doing.

i have been a modeler for years and spent alot of time painting GW products and learning thier painting techniques.

you need to learn about ink washes, drybrushing and fine detail work to put out some awe inspiring minis.

now that you are oputting in the work to learn the basics, it would behoove you to learn some advanced painting techniques to really push your modeling over the edge.

just my .02.....but who cares. i dont play anymore anyways.

    Nice job.

I have not seen so many red and black knights in one shot since high school.   *grin*

well at least he paints them perportionately.. not like those sweatshop workers that put black eye dots on the characters nose.. or completely fails on painting the characters hair and instead paints the entire head one colour

and besides.. i think the colour scheme looks great and very team like

how about posting your repaints? you have a lot of words for sombody that isn't backing up their own statements!!

That would be cool ... except it would make them suuuuuck!

Seriously, do you know how realistic that would make them look? They'd be gritty, dark, realistic, like they're fresh out of the rough rampage of battle!

Which is nothing like the bright cartoony colors of the WOW I love best. *grins*
