Re: Uhh... My boxes are in...
Thanks for the scans. :)
Nature's Swiftness is generally awful. It is designed purely to be a degenerate combo card, and even its wording nerfs it from doing something really scary like that. Perhaps it will have some form or use with Circle of Life or whatever, but I'm not counting on it.
Forbidden Knowledge also looks nifty, but I can't imagine it actually being good unfortunately, if there is any amount of ability-hindering in this set. I mean, even a 1 drop makes you lose with it, but this ability DOES look like a ton of fun to play. :)
Sentry Gwynn, however, seems absolutely ABSURD. She might as well be Lady Jaina Proudmoore, since it keeps your hero from dying if you are playing a healing class such as priest (excluding paladin- they have more than enough ways to defend themselves it seems). Your opponent is forced to attack into it, and your prevention/healing effects could keep her from dying for a long time. That, or you just keep recurring her via AM-E, Resurrection, etc. This is definitely a watch card in future tournaments.

Yeah, just keep a deck full of sneaks and you're good to go (sneak: target ally has elusive this turn)

Being able to play a card 2 turns ahead of the curve is aweful? Right... =P

I like how they are doing pulling through cards like Mocking Blow. I can't wait to see how Hunters do and with TRAPS!
Some people dislike archers. Simple Rule: Damage is always counted up. Health is not counted down. When damage on a character is equal or greater to a character's health, the character receives Fatal Damage and it is destroyed.

1103827:Kagrenac- Well that's just my opinion. If I wanted to accelerate I would prefer it being an ability that says something like placing a card in my hand into my resource row. Nature's Swiftness just does it for one spell, and is otherwise a dead card in your hand.
I think you are misreading it. It's not just for abilities, you can play anything following it. Think of playing Grayson on turn 5. That's pretty big. Hardly makes this a dead card in your hand.

My deck will evaporate the cards in your hand like the devils trident would evaporate water.

I can confirm that this is for the Release Celebration, I have seen the kit itself. There are damage counters (jems) and Landros bag which is a felt (I think) bag to hold counters, dice, etc

Right. Like I said, imagine being able to use Chromie on turn 4 - the other guy may not even have enough firepower to take her down at that point before she can use her effect.

Re: Uhh... My boxes are in...
Yeah, but what good is Chromie's effect if you don't have another big guy out to take advantage of an extra turn? Or enough resources to follow up with something silly?
I still think Nature's Swiftness isn't that good. It's a temporary acceleration, and when the card (note, one card, you can't play multiple guys out with Swiftness since it's not giving you actual resources) that you play out is taken care of, you're down a later game play and extra cards. Plus a turn.
Now Swiftness might be good in conjunction with Spirit Healer, which can recur protector/cantrips like the 2/2 for 3 that was revealed earlier in this thread and Magni/Proudmoore/Grayson. This may be a plausible strategy and one that justifies the running of Swiftness, since the play will typically win you the game if your opponent can't immediately deal with Spirit Healer.

Re: Uhh... My boxes are in...
Hey guys, thanks to all who have posted their cards, much appreciated :).
I'v got a quick question, with the dagger "Gift of the elven magi" If the card you draw is not an ability, do you put it back, discard it or put it on the bottem of ur deck?
I agree with Tlarlo, 'Chromie' is only useful if you can take full advantage of the extra turn. IMO Chromie is more of a late game finisher.

It just says look at the card so I guess you just put it back on your deck.

Re: Uhh... My boxes are in...
Sentry Gwynn is ridiculous. A priest deck with 4 copie of her? Forget about it.
You can res her, you can heal her over and over again, search her if you ned to with diplomat and she comes out early enough to matter. That strategy would probobly wipe out all ally decks, because every time they hit her (and they will probboly be throwing everything they have at her) she deals 3 damage back to them, you heal her and you're good to go. I'm thinking we have the first card that's really worth building around. HAve we seen anything that says "attached ally has elusive?" If so... i'm gonna need 4 of those... and 4 of her.
I also like the mocking blow. 1 for 1 damage and that card has to attack you're hero... very nice.

Re: Uhh... My boxes are in...
I think Lorekeeper Darian is the first card we've seen that could make losing by deck depletion a very likely scenario (not including Forbidden Knowledge).
