Alright, I need clarification with regards to Hero ATK.

When we swing with a weapon the weapons ATK is added to the ATK of the hero which is 0 at the start. This ATK lasts for the duration of the single combat in which the weapon was used, as opposed to lasting the whole turn right?

The Masons Fraternity Ring would allow my hero to attack and deal 1 damage without using, or even having a weapon right?

Last night I went out and just poped different starters and played them blindly, it wwas very fun

Keep in mind, it is not a unique ring, and you can wear 2 rings at one time. So by turn 4, you can have +2 ATK for free, and still be able to carry a weapon. That makes every swing of the Krol Blade 5 ATK for 1 cost per swing.

Not quite. It doesn't add anything to the ATK value of the weapon and they don't work on defense. On the attack, the net result would be adding 5 ATK to you hero, but if you managed to ready the Krol blade and swing it again, it would only add another 3 to your ATK.

Note, if you ready Krol Blade and your hero, and attack a second time that turn, you would do 5 again. You only do 3 while defending.

But it does sometimes get annoying constantly needing to make clerifications just to keep others from getting confused. A simply statement can easily turn into a paragraph just trying to cover all corners.

It would have been nice to say "get 2 of the rings and Krol Blade, poof 5 damage for 1 cost!" I know what I mean, and others would, but it skips a lot of details on how that works, and how it may not work under different circumstances, so I would need to clerify all the details, or some one else would need to reply.

I was actually referring to something like along the lines of Windfury weapon or Thrash blade and swinging it again during the same combat, but you get the point.

Actually it would work like this, you have 2 rings on giving your warrior an ATK rating of 2, you attack with your warrior with no weapon for 2 damage, you defend dealing 2 damage......if you have a weapon you attack for the initial 2 then strike the weapon for 3 for a total of 5...your weaon is not ready so cannot strike on defense but still deal the 2 damage from the ATK rating of your hero.

If the weapon is ready on defense you do 2 defense damage then strike for 3 more weapon damage for 5 damage.

Well, they could make them out of paper, but then people would throw the paper away and buy their own plastic deck boxes instead. They aren't just paying more to package in plastic for no reason, these are deck boxes - it's actually a deal and the trees can keep their smiles.

I got the normal (D'OH!) Saltwater Snapjaw, I believe it is epic but I don't know for sure.
I don't have them at hand right now, so I'll post it as soon as possible.

That would be great.  I am about to get some sleep anyways.  Would be a nice suprise to find some new epic info in the morning though.  lol.  Honestly no pressure though.

Hmn, sorry to dissapoint you mate. I bought 3 boxes and I got no epics, only heroes.
I bought 3 boxes, yes I know the averadge person buys 6, and got lucky.
I got all the chars I wanted, Shaman, Paladin and Alliance Druid. Sweet!
I think they somehow downrated the boosters you get for free, since I didn't get anything special.
I do got some nice cards tho, for as far as I can tell now.

You are correct because it specifies only when attacking, my scenario works when an item gives a general + rating, like the Druid card Mark of the Wild (if it let you attach to Hero that is)

3 booster boxes or 3 starter decks? Booster boxes contain 24 packs and there should be roughly 2 epics per box. Since the 3 starters only contain 6 packs your odds aren't the best at getting an epic.
