It's such a small point that I'll stop here, but it isn't individual whims since tons of people have talked about THX as well as tourney results have shown THX to be a serious contender. I understand your reason for not including it at the top, but I think you are understating it a bit more and that this last post was probably your most fair argument on the subject. To end, I still think you are understating non-Daxin THX's power and I would just caution other players to not overlook it, but that's that and I can understand your reasons for not cluttering up the page.

Give me a THX band that's not Daxin.  If you say Varimathras, I'll counter that the guy probably liked Rock and Roll or didn't own a Daxin of his own.  If you say Ona, I haven't EVER seen an Ona played, I can only go by having heard her mentioned.  If you say Omedus, I'll point out that it's never made a single Sunday that I can find. But, If you say Haruka, it's already back at the top.  What is this serious THX power that you're alluding to?

    Seriously.

Thanks for the update, Siggie. Looks as accurate as something as subjective as this can be, to me.

Re: Minis Gauntlet--the regularly updated kind!

Thanks, CT.  A gamer can only  possibly do so much to cover so many bases while trying to provide the most objective view of subjective matter.  When I started this, I didn't appreciate quite how hard it would be to cover enough teams to snap-shot the meta while trying to maintain a measure of accuracy in what's worth testing against for weekly events as well as major ones.  But, since I read every article posted here anyway, I figured I could digest all of that information and spit it back out with regular updates to a community-driven thread.

    Cheers!

Man, I wish this were stickied so I could stop bumping it without it falling off the front page. Charlotte will have a marginal impact on the Meta with Spoils going live just before Realms, but I'm sure many of us will do all that we can to analyze the best figs and talk about how the new ones will impact existing teams, as well as covering completely new Spoils teams.

    Cheers!

    Siggie,

you'll soon recognize that my Savin-Namrah-Irana Combo works better than the "powerhouse in progress" Blessing of Shadow ;)

And with SoW coming out this thread will be updated very often soon!!! No worries - you won't need to push it anymore...

Re: Minis Gauntlet--the regularly updated kind!

I read your report, but I remain skeptical. Until others provide some more feedback or it starts dominiating a few BGs, SIN is just a variation on a SNN theme. It'll earn its place in the hopefulls if it makes any impact whatsoever at Charlotte next weekend.

    Til then,

    Cheers!

Re: Minis Gauntlet--the regularly updated kind!

Ok so there has been lots of talk of an army that i didnt think was playable.

    Kitty/Kitty/Variable?

How do you get the cats to earn their points and not die right after their RTS with out running cower?

I understand you need the RTS/Beastial Fury to ensure one-shotting(Where possable) But i always find that If I miss out on the one shot i am offering my opponent 8 vps for swings on 1 armor kitties.

I may be missing something very paramount but I just dont see it at the moment. Dont get me wrong. I like the cats but i seem them more a a support character than i do a utility or job character.

    K thanks

Since a Bestial Furied Kitty is immune to fear, it pretty much locks down a warlock team.  The only problem is when they go up against a team with any kind of armor.  If you really think that triple locks will be a large percentage of the meta at Charlotte, the kitty team isn't too bad.

    Just my opinion.

I like to run cornered on my cats these days (at least one).  The mere fact they have BF available makes people side out their fears and santurias etc. so it does its job before the game even begins.

Also, I have been leaning towards hellcaller/hellcaller/kitty theses days...

It was a good team.  It was just unfortunate he had to play a team that had a counter to all of his abilities, really.

I'm still having trouble finding a Monster team I like.  The one I played Friday is nice, but it is too reliant on heavy dice rolls.  The Reth/EFS/HG team I still like the best, honestly.

I'm playing EFS/HG/Hellcaller and it's pretty good; the hellcaller brings fear and death coil, which are both really useful with EFS' furnace and HG's flesh harvest. :D

All I have to say about the Meta is .....

    Tiger Uppercut.

    That is all.
My top 8 appearances are limited to bringing good players water and crabs.

You all said I was crazy when I was packing Purge.

That I was crazy because buffs aren't seriously that good, are they?!

    NOW WHOSE CRAZY, HUH?!  MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

Fleckenwhatever packed a sideboard spellsteal to deal with all the buffs.  I never got a chance to ask him how it performed.

    Were you in Charlotte, ProfParm?

Siggie, I know you'll get to it, but I'm looking forward to seeing 3K on the Tried and True list now!  (I never thought that would be the next team to do it, to tell you the truth).  Good to meet you there.

Quick assessment: Looks like packing either Fears or DOTS gives you the versatility to handle all comers on Border Disputes

    That is all.
