    Xi'ri and Footsteps of Illidan

Now this seems like a pie in the sky but I have created this deck to win in 4 turns, and I've accomplished that goal several times now in some fun games with friends. I just want to make sure that I'm right.

Xi'ri reads, At end of turn, destroy all demons.

Footsteps of Illidan reads, Attach to target hero or ally, That character is also a demon.

So I'm right to think Xi'ri kills my opponents hero at the end of turn he enters play.

As it stands now, that will work.  Getting Xi'ri into play on turn 4 is the hard part.

Turn 1: Place Donation Wool complete it an discard Xi'ri

Turn 2: Place Improper Burial and play Tarwila Gladespring

Turn 3: Place a resource, cast footsteps on your opponent with 2 resources, n the 3rd with Tarwilas tap to complete Improper burial to RFG Xi'ri.

Turn 4: Place a resource, Tap all resources and Tarwila and cast Ripped Through the Portal. Thats Game

    Ok, good luck with that.

BTW, you would have to use Tarwila to reduce the cost of Footsteps. She doesn't affect paying the cost of quests.

So, you have a 5 card combo there, good luck with that.

And you have to hope that your opponent doesn't deal with Tarwilla or your 1 ability on the field.

Doom comes for you, and it takes pleasure in your resistance.

Just play standard Warlock control, and on turn 7 use the new ability to put Xi'ri into play.

naah, i'd rather drop Inventor's Focal Sword and wait for Xi'ri to come into play before attaching Footsteps to the Warlock. suicide ftw!

Re: Xi'ri and Footsteps of Illidan

You meant to say 6. However, it's really only a three-card combo, since there are easily other ways to get Xi'ri removed from game, and Tarwila is just to make it happen turn 4 rather than 5. While you might not consistently win on turn 4, I imagine the deck isn't TOO bad...still, if you're going through the trouble, why not just play some other big dude? (Granted Xi'ri is 13/13, so I suppose he qualifies for this honor.)
