    Morlug + Supernova Vs. Invis

for the sake of arguement - lets say 2 people were playing against each other and for some reason, chose mage.

Player A - has 5 open (9 total resources) and 2x Morlug Soulslayers on the board.

Player B - has 3 open on Player A's turn and 1 card in hand - Invisibility

Player A goes for the kill with Supernova - Player B drops Invis to make his hero untargetable for all the damage from Supernova, but what happens to the Morlug(s) damage?

it says, "When one of your resources is destroyed, Morlug Soulslaver deals 1 shadow damage to target hero." Would that mean that Player A just destroyed all his resources to deal 18 damage to his own hero since Player B's hero is now untargetable?

Well, I'll be totally honest with ya. I didn't playtest your deck. If I wanted to take a bunch of random cards throw them in the air and put all the ones that landed face up inside a deck. I'd do that

Supernova states that the resources are destroyed as part of its cost.  Therefore they are destroyed before Invisibility is played in response to Supernova, which puts Morlug's effect on the chain.  Morlug has a legal target before Invis resolves, so when Invis does resolve the target simply becomes illegal and his effect fizzles.

Re: Morlug + Supernova Vs. Invis

Player A puts Supernova on the chain targeting Player B's hero, destroying all of his resources as part of the cost. Before either player gets priority to add anything else, Morlug's effect triggers and is added to the chain by PPP. At that point, Player A has to select a target for the Morlug triggers. Presumably, he selects Player B's hero. Player A now still has priority. He passes priority to Player B. Player B plays Inivisibility, making his hero untargetable for the turn. The Morlug effects, and Supernova, are interrupted because their target is now illegal.

Re: Morlug + Supernova Vs. Invis

Player B's hero would not take any damage, but neither would Player A's.

Both Supernova and Morlug's triggered power are targeted. The target is chosen when the link is added to the chain. If Player B's hero becomes untargetable in response to Supernova being played, the targets have already been chosen and they don't get changed.

So, basically, the links would interrupted and no damage would be dealt. But, all of Player A's resources would be destroyed because that was done as part of the cost of playing Supernova.
