    Becoming a Certified WoW Judge

If you've got strong rules knowledge and would like to put it to good use, consider becoming a certified WoW Rules Judge.

Pass the online rules knowledge test found here and you're all set.

There are 25 (open book) questions and you need to answer at least 20 correctly to pass.
Don't forget that you'll need a UDE number to take the test, which can be obtained at your Local Game Store or WoW tournament.

    Good luck!

Yes there is!  That's why you see all these people with "WoW TCG Judge Lv1", or something like it in their sigs.

    OH!  LOOK!  ;-)

I passed the test last week.  Is there a database that tournament organizers can use to find level 1 judges?  Also, when will we be able to become level 2 judges?

Level 2 test will initially be available at Gen Con So Cal, and after the results have been evaluated they will become available at more places.

That's a good idea. I'll pass this on to the Judge Certification Manager.

Hey Jess while you talk to the certification manager, could you also ask him about giving points to judges? I mean players will eventually get UDE points for playing, what do judges get? I think we should get points as well.

They've mentioned this as a reward for Judges in the past, as well as having points cards available at the Hobby level for tourney winners.  However, nothing has been implemented or finalized yet.

The real problem is the password u need to get mailed for the judgetests. Been a month and still none. Or and answer to the "if not recieved after 3 weeks" mail. What option is there left?

I think they are rather busy at this moment, maybe try again in a few weeks?

Re: Becoming a Certified WoW Judge

Just so everyone knows, if you have a UDE number, but have not recieved your UDE account and password in order to access the Judge Certification Tests, you should do the following:

Send an email to player@upperdeck.com and tell them that you have registered and have a UDE number, but you have not received a password for your UDE account yet.  They want your personal information in your email so they can set you up in their system.  You should get an email back in about a week.  Include the following:

    UDE Number
    Name
    Address
    City
    State/Region
    Zip Code/Postcode
    Country
    Date of Birth MM/DD/YY
    Phone Number
    Email Address

When they respond, you'll be able to access the test.  Good luck!

    Hope this helps!

Re: Becoming a Certified WoW Judge

I've passed the Level 1 Rules Certification test. Is there something I should keep with me to prove that I have taken this test? The places that I am playing right now have a lot of people who do not understand the rules at all. I just want a way to instill confidence in my understanding of the rules. Right now you just have a bunch of people who don't think anyone else knows the rules any better than they do.

Re: Becoming a Certified WoW Judge

You will get a Judge Card eventually, but until then, all you can do is tell them you passed or show them your certification online.

    Hope this helps!
