I like the direction R&D is going with this block. I really like the Warrior Lord guy.

Re: Scourgewar Preview - Class Matters

"Each set in the block has a number of featured classes. Scourgewar features Death Knight, Rogue, Warlock, and Warrior. Each featured class has an above-average number of allies, a “Lord,” like Klannoc here . . ."

(Cry's a little for Shamman, Hunter, Priest, Mage, Druid, Paladin)
But this set looks fun cant wait!!!

Re: Scourgewar Preview - Class Matters

I think the blurb about the free flip powers that require a matching ally will really add a fun new element to Limited play.  It will be interesting to see if a lot of the new heroes become a force in Constructed play due to the power of the new synergistic class allies.  Warrior-man could be a beast!

Personally, I'm extremely excited that Death Knights will have even more opportunities than usual to get some great class-specific cards in each set this block, as they have a TON of catching up to do!  Not to mention, I love the fact that DK's don't have to wait until the end of the block to get their themed set.  Scourgewar FTW!

Also, I really hate to say it but I hope that the Horde Hunter will get a better free flip!  This Dwarf requires a really specific weapon type AND ally type on board to get a +1 counter.  Hopefully there will be more than one Ranged weapon in this set to raise the probability, but still...say it with me...poor Hunter.

In the end, there can be only one. And that one, has the power.

Also I'm pretty sure using that effect on him or your hero is probably more exciting anyway, although that use is definitely cool.

@masterring: What do you mean allies for free? Anarchist Bladewalker cost 5!

About the previews: yeah, it was about time. I was really excited even before I seen any cards, now I just can't wait. More reputation, yay! And I like the idea of hero's flips.
