Fields of Honor Crafting: Gloves of Immortal Dusk

Resource acceleration has always been carefully controlled in the World of Warcraft TCG, and with good reason.

Better than the 3/3 card.  Might see some main deck play in the ramp decks.  4-cost is a bit rough for only 1 armor, but I suppose you can also run Predatory Gloves for more +2 Shenanigans.

    Bad card imo

It is not that overpowered as is and they should allow you to destroy the card on your own to add another resource.

Least that way there would be some thought when choosing between the Gloves card and this card

If anything I would have made the Vest the crafting card and the Gloves the uncommon card in a set.

As a player and consumer I should probably just be happy they did it they way they did since I do not have to gather mats for the gloves now.

Re: Fields of Honor Crafting: Gloves of Immortal Dusk

I think it is going to be underestimated.

Play it turn 4 ->5 resources,

    Play one on turn 5  -> 6 resources. Opponent -1 resource. Place a resource-> 7 resources,  2 spare resources

Play one on turn 6 -> 8 resources. Opponent now -2 on resources. Place a resource ->9 resources, 4 spare resources

Play last copy on turn 7 -> 10 resources. Opponent now -3 on resources. Place a resource ->11 resources, 6 spares resources

    Turn 8 Illidan :P

Now off course you have extra resources left on turn 4,5, 6 and 7 to do anything else like say hibernate to increase resources for eg.

The only problem is that this means you need all 4 copies ...

Re: Fields of Honor Crafting: Gloves of Immortal Dusk

It'd be a nice card to drop on t4 after a t3 Predatory Gloves, against control. Gaining 2 resources on your opponent is quite considerable, and in a lot of cases better to destroy an opponent's and gain one than gain two like Brigand's. Plus Brigand's costs 5 overall, although in the same situation allows a 2-cost as well on turn 4. And it's only one card, the gloves require two.

That's probably the weakest point imo, having to find a way to destroy the gloves. I guess that will mean another dusk gloves drop or Predatory Gloves, the only other playable hand equipment.

Sunken Treasure recursion could be interesting though. Or janktastic Angelista.

Edit: Wow, someone just beat me to Angelista. Didn't expect that xD

If the trigger was 'leaves play' that would be worth it...as is, it's pay 4 to gain a resource you can't use this turn, seems sub-par.  I pay 8+2 and get +2 resources and 2 dmg maybe...kind of janky for a 2-card combo when Bloodsea is pay 5 get 2 resources and it's a 1-card combo...seems bad...

They would make me happy if they made better cards.

Re: Fields of Honor Crafting: Gloves of Immortal Dusk

lol that's gotta count as worse than Angelista... how are you going to get 4 Dwarf allies into your party let alone keep them there... Unless you've got Magni out in which case you probably don't need this card...

Re: Fields of Honor Crafting: Gloves of Immortal Dusk

This card seems fine. It's an accelerator that can destroy resources, goes well with equipment recursion effects like repair bot, can go into a deck with Illidan, and most importantly works head-over-heels to get the band active. May inspire a new version of rogue control, or perhaps a small step in attempting to make the traitor druid deck better.
