    Indianapolis Area Players

Ok, so it's nothing official so far, but I am working to get things going at Comic Carnival East with minis.  This Friday from 6-8ish we are getting together to just play there and I will do some demoing if any one is interested.  Although UDE will not be doing a release event, my first sanctioned event will be a sealed event there with details to follow in the coming weeks.  The buy in will be a booster of SoW plus a minimal addition if anything.  But again, details still need ironed out on that.  Hope to see a few new faces and maybe put some faces to some of you that I've been talking to on here this Friday though.  Let's show CC East that there is a fan base out there.  If any of you are like me, a more easily available battlegrounds site would be much appreciate.  I think this is our chance.

    Re: Indianapolis Area Players

So it is this Friday as in the 3rd @ 1800 to 2000 and the cost is just a booster? Is there any prizes or are we just playing? I might be selling all my minis minus the ones my wife likes so I might show up to chill for the night. If anyone is going and interested message me and I will sell you my whole collection CHEAP!!!!

    Re: Indianapolis Area Players

I apologize for the misinformation.  This Friday, the 3rd, we are getting together from 6-8pm to simply play.  It's not sanctioned.  The first weekend after SoW is released we will have our first sanctioned sealed event.  Prizes will come from the extra boosters I can round up that day.  I think a SoW sealed event will be the least threatening way for new players to join in during the first event there.

I am definitely interested in your minis though.  I'm not out for a whole collection but my alliance collection is almost complete.  =)  Although I'd be just as happy if you decided to keep them.  Gen-Con isn't too far away and it's a blast.

If Mereck makes it, that will take the number of people I know of up to 5.  Anyone else interested?

I will talk to Tanner in the next few days. We are supposed to go to KY for a RQ in the TCG but we might stay home and come to this. I should be able to let you guys know for sure late Friday.

Yeah, I asked him last night and he was uncertain then but I didn't realize it was for RQ.  Thanks for the info.

    Re: Indianapolis Area Players

I think we are going to put off going to KY this weekend and might come to this event. Besides ourselves is there anything we need to bring? I put a call into Tanner and so far no return. Did you call him or did  you run into him somewhere? And does CC have bg kits or are we just winging it?

    Re: Indianapolis Area Players

I talked to Tanner online and we are just getting together this Friday to play.  I have enough that you can borrow whatever though.  I'm going to compile a list for CC again as to what they need to do so that we can start having battlegrounds events there.  Hopefully we can start that up next month after the SoW event.

    Re: Indianapolis Area Players

I'm not sure what kind of plans anyone has for Saturday yet.  Probably not much of anything before noon or one.  DMF Charlotte though, huh?  I'd like to go, but I think the Tennessee event is more likely for me.
