Holy... you want info on a tournement 11 months in advance?  DMF LV is a month AFTER worlds.  How about asking for the tournement schedule for next year while you are at it.

Qualified for NACC 2009 with an 0-3 record. Yay 6 man tournaments with top 8 qualifying.

I know this request seems silly but if you want to go to Vegas you need to book your hotel months in advance.

Also I would not be surprised if more people want to attend this DMF.

Everyone wants to go to Vegas...it is the adult Disney Land.

Adults who play WoW games will want to go. Adults who have kids that play WoW games will want to go.

If handled well this could be the most successful DMF of all time.

Where have UDE or WOTC held major tournaments before in Vegas? I'm assuming it wasn't at any of the hotels actually on the Strip but was it actually near the major casinos/attractions or are we looking at DMF Henderson, Nevada?

I went to a sneak preview for ... I think it was for Planar Chaos ... whatever it was it was the one with Damnation, the black Wrath of God.  It was held in one of the off-strip casino's.  One of the Station casinos.

The casino itself wasn't that bad, but really in Vegas as long as it's not in Henderson you should be able to easily get to wherever it is and stay wherever.

As an aside, I want to echo the sentiments that this could be a very big event.  With a new kid and economic turmoil I am prolly only getting to one DMF this year.  I am saving for this one in hopes that I can do it.

When a mommy and a daddy love each other very much or get drunk enough, they call the stork and he delivers them a new baby.

Either that or black market purchase.

Decipher (relevant cause half of the people who used to work at Decipher now work at UDE) used to run events at The Orleans once a year way back when.  The Orleans is an off-strip hotel that catered mostly to old people (as far as I could tell).  The only positive thing I recall about the hotel was the cocktail waitress uniforms.

If news reports are accurate, there isn't much of a convention business in Vegas right now, so there might be a lot of availability for cheap in several different places.

    Fall down boy

Some people that play this game have wives , kids  , jobs and commitments and

need as much leadtime as possible. No need to be rude.

Sorry if this request was out of line.

It has been about 2+ months that I have been on these boards.

Any Vegas DMF info is appreciated. Including Rumors ( usually proven true : see Worlds Paris 08)

    Thank U

The easy solution is to just spend the whole month in Vegas.  That way you know you won't miss it.

If you spend a whole month in Vegas, there's a good chance you'll miss a lot of things.
