    The Best Way to Abuse Bluffwatchers?

    I was thinking a straightforward warrior deck with the following would be ultra-cheap to make and get a few laughs (And perhaps cause some embarassing losses):

    30x Bluffwatcher
    4x Tatulla the Reclaimer

    4x Finishing Shout
    4x Battle Shout
    3x Rallying Shout (A bunch of 5/5 and up Bluffwatchers that can all protect eachother to insure longevity of each individual, to keep the stat boost? Yes plz)
    3x Defensive Stance

    As far as quests. . . I don't know, but it needs some decent draw power to keep the deck moving (demonic contamination? kim'jael indeed? torek's assault? tabards of the illidari? against the illidari?), since the only card advantage is going to come from bluffwatchers being larger than their allies, or winning the game before it matters by smashing into their hero with a pile of bluffwatchers.

    A sub-theme here is how against a deck without ability removal, their allies will have a hard time hurting my hero even if they took care of all the bluffwatchers because of defensive stance + finishing shout reducing all effective damage from allies by 2 per combat. And 1 damage DOT affects won't touch me at all because of the stance.

    And yes I know Bringer or Pinprik = I lose, but a single Bringer of Death would cost more than  TWICE this entire deck combined, so I'm not too concerned about any blows to my pride in that respect. And as far as Pinprik, we're both making for-fun decks at that point. It's a for-fun idea.

    Thoughts on other possible ways to have fun with Bluffwatchers, and comments on my current concept please?

    EDIT: In retrospect, I think not having anything to drop on turns 1 or 2 isn't such a good idea. But what can I put there that fits the theme, and doesn't involve removing too many bluffwatchers?

    Re: The Best Way to Abuse Bluffwatchers?

    4x Offender Gora
    4x Vexmaster Nar'jo

    Fit them in somehow, and they will give you early drops and ways to combat aggro. As for quests, Kim'jael Indeed is a must.

    I don't know, I was thinking perhaps Ra'waza Stonetusk might be a good call for a 2-drop. He can protect my bluffwatchers for potentially many turns from trades with 2/1 and 2/2 and (ugh) 2/3's before the bluffwatchers can get beefy.

    Of course, a more pro-active approach of the Vexmaster might still be a better choice.

    Re: The Best Way to Abuse Bluffwatchers?

    well if you must try to build that deck, you definately have to have at least 6  one drop allies and probably 6 2 drop allies just to make sure you get them on turn 1 and 2 when you want to use them.  If you want to keep with the whole bluffwatchers theme, you could put some more tauren in the deck like matalo trailfinder... he really isnt a dead card ever, he just doesnt have ferocity or protector.  that would satisfy some 1 drops... someone said offender, which is an ok card.. not tauren though.  Elder moorf is tauren, a 1 drop, and adds to the ""pump up"" theme, but can get costly for sure.  Voss treebender is an old standby for a tauren 1 drop....

    I would persoanlly use Bulkhas for my hero and then have a stoneguard rashun or 3 in my deck and also gives you access to war stomp for those pesky fast ally rush if you dont have a finishing shout  out yet.   I wouldnt use defencive stance and put in puncture and a couple of strike back weapons like 4 hellreavers.

    Just my 2 cents... heve fun and good luck!

    mmmmmm.. that weapon is chock full of Shamany goodness... Finally!! a male enhancement......................... shaman!!!!

    Re: The Best Way to Abuse Bluffwatchers?

    To make it clear, it doesn't need to use a plethora of tauren besides the Bluffwatchers. It just needs the Bluffwatchers to be the primary winning condition.

    That being said, I think I'm going to drop the battle shouts due to the minimal effect they have compared to their cost. Gift of the Wild they ain't.

    However, the Hellreavers are a good idea. . . The only problem is that it costs 3, and that's already a crowded part of my curve. By crowded, I mean literally over half the deck costs 3 :) But I am definitely considering them as of now. They'd be a shoo-in if it weren't for the fact that I still feel defensive stance offers quite a bit for the deck.

    EDIT: Also, A decent combo for a finisher that I stumbled upon would be Lionar, Unbound's flip combined with Rallying Shout. Essentially +2 attack to all of my allies.

    Re: The Best Way to Abuse Bluffwatchers?

    thread necromancy FTW
    this is something i came up, i dunno if this is good or anything i expect someone to put in an ideas:

    hero:
    Lionar, Unbound

    Allies: x36
    4x Kino the Cold
    4x Ra'waza Stonetusk
    28x Bluffwatchers

    abillities: x10
    4x Rallying shout
    3x defensive stance
    3x Defiance

    quests: x14
    4x  The Last Barov
    3x  Akama's Promise
     3x Swift Discipline
     2x Arena Master
     2x Arena Grandmaster

    so i think defiance could be used which would kill rush decks. or this could go to side or smthn. dunno. hope you like it post replies

    Re: The Best Way to Abuse Bluffwatchers?

    i was going to make fun out of this unlimited deck cus, from like 3 weeks and so ppl is trying to make an unlimited deck work xD.

    its not that it looks bad, its just that its funny just how it goes, and to think that all started by someone joking around in a post about making a 30 orgrimmar grunts 30 greenhills of stranglethon. but now the DEFIANCE...i mean that's a hole diferent history right there.

    like for real i have to congratulate the guy that though of defiance it turn a casual funny deck that anyone could play and have a few laughs....into a really competitive deck, now u would only need to mulligan defiance and drop it in the third turn and ur set, for real great idea.

    if ur serious about going for an unlimited deck....dude....bluff watchers....i think best unlimited hord ally there is, and defiance...omg for real, even if u fight against kilzin or Carnage rogue u would do just fine. make this deck happen and pls post wut comes out of ur playtesting cus for real, with just that card in it (defiance) makes it all worth it. omg i feel goosebumps by the idea of been ran over with some taurens, ummm maybe using Thunder bluff would make those guys hard to remove

    Re: The Best Way to Abuse Bluffwatchers?

    yep, with defiance and rallying shout it's like "oh, you wanna attack me? well choose one guy that's going to dye soon" the only game stopper that i can think of now is those god damn warlocks with theyr banish to the nether and eye of kil'rog wouldn't kill me probably but would be very annoying. but the good thing is: there are probably to warlocks playing with discards-then-removed from the game with fellshroud. theoreticly this type of set up would be useless untill they get my defiance there and on them selves. but.. there is always the thingie called burn away (3-destroy target abillity) i think i gonna add 3 of them in expense of 3 bluffwatchers. what means there will be 13 abb's and 25 bluffies.

    i'll try to check it out through MWS as soon as i can.

    Just hope you don't hit a mage, lol. Blizzard will ruin your day. Maybe you could run some cromarius, or side it?

    Re: The Best Way to Abuse Bluffwatchers?

    cromarius COULD theoreticaly go to the side, because i'm aiming to control 2-3 abbilities at the same time so if my opponent has only blizzard out, cromarius fails. but if i keep it on the side and encounter some one who fits the case, i'm happy :) i think 3-4 burn away could help me out considering that, i should never put them in resource row.

    yah some abitlies might ruin ur day and stuff....but ...wait a min....u would be warrior....so...u would have INTERRUPTS!!!:D!!!like absolute poise or even spell ricochet :D!!!

    i would not put burn away man for real, maybe cromarius u know...MAYBE but no burn away. Also the shouts in this deck could go right.

    some finishing shouts and stuff like that would work really good

    Re: The Best Way to Abuse Bluffwatchers?

    hmz. interupts they have ruined me far too many times. i would doubt that it would go right with this deck.
    i mean the whole point here is to stack resources and call allies ASAP i cant sit down with free resources and wait will he or will he not thrown something out. it would be a major brake in the action. another thing considering this is "unlimited" deck so i think there should be atleast  like 20-25 watchers with my curent preset there are 25 of them (w/ 3x burn away 's) i  think getting there like 6 interrupts would be a not such a good idea (or i might be wrong :) ). now another thing is: if he throws out blizzard and i dont have the interupts in my hand at the time - im screwd: interupts interupt so to say, afterwards they are useless, while with burn away i can get it after the blizz enters play. although i dont think it would be there for long. it says that basicly i cant attack and he cant play cards (or blizz goes down) so in the time, if he sits around for like 8 turns to get my team out of the game i can restack and refill. so anyway it would be such a killer (unless he has a good party at that time, yep, then im dead)

    2        Torek's Assault
    3       It's a Secret to Everybody
            //\\
            // Creatures
    4      Sivandra Darklust
    4       Nathaniel Voran
    4       Dark Archon Farrum
    4        Dethvir the Malignant
    3        Queen Sylvanas Windrunner
    4        Treebole
            //\\
            // Spells
    3        Soulstone
    4        Eye of Kilrogg
    2       Vicious Circle
    1       The Bringer of Death
    4        Suspended Curse
    4        Banish to the Nether
    4       Backlash
            //\\
            // Sideboard
    1        Cannibalize
    1        Pagatha Soulbinder
    1        Inventor's Focal Sword
    4       Curse of Weakness

    quick re-cap:

    1 game medium quality first hand but managed to move up and won the game with ~4 bluffs on the field
    2 game spalendid game..a lot of Qs but he managed to keep me down bit by bit and combed out dethvir and silvanas and im done... slow ride to death

    3 game 3x blufs 1q 1rallying shout 1 burn away.  3x bluffs on the field 2x kino the cold to help them out... and an easy win ...

    so the deck might just work... although there could be a few ally destroys here

    Re: The Best Way to Abuse Bluffwatchers?

    i did not knew silvanas dethvir combo, kinda high cost combo...but a really good one. u could use maybe some punctures to help ya deal with some opposing threats like ossus and stuff, or maybe that instant card that gives an ally -3atk/-3 hp, is a nice instant remover and kazamon cries with it xD, plus it does wonders when u have a couple of finishing shouts in the field
