Re: Head of the Class: Pinprik Plays with Fire

Personally I think they should have allowed him to use blast wave and dragons breath this guy needs all the help he can.  They should have also use any form of interupt , fizzle counterspell netherfracture to give him some survivability.   So many things are just waiting to nuke him off the table.

And i can't believe this freak won a big tournament in new york no one was playing any form of DD Not one mortal strike warrior or a rogue with 2 sinister strikes... no mages warlocks or boomkins in attendance... Hell a turn 2 kill from a storm shocking shamy.

I appluad the person that pulled it off... but yeah. No offense but he just flat out sucks.  Designers should have been slapped and he should have like 13 health... you know that lucky number... either you will luck out or you will be toasted by turn 4.

    Patches McGee thinks otherwise.

Keep in mind that Storm Shock requires the target to choose a hero or ally in his party.  As long as the Pinprik hero can place 2 allies that cost 1, they can survive a bit longer.

    jeremy,

i do hope u realize that we were kidding 2 weeks ago when we said pinprik dominated our reg.Q.  in NYC they had 10 ppl show up so they decided to have fun with the report.   However, last week in edison NJ, we did have 33 people compete, but alas, no pinprik made an appearance except by winning the draft...lol
with kilzin being the agro deck to beat, and fire and frost mages dominating the msg boards, i dont see how pinprik is viable... hell i have 4 different warlock decks that have auto wins against it...  can u say marlowe flip= good?  are shadowburn shadowbolt and steal essence ok?  how about dread infernals or niyores?  hell even a pally with holy shock and holy shield auto wins...   lol  omg how about boomkin?  can u say bad matchup?  lol   how about any deck with myrium?  the list goes on...   there is simply no way for pinprik to be viable outside of 5 person regionals...

    sry to burst the bubble...

see u at conts my friend~

    jeremy,

hell even a pally with holy shock and holy shield auto wins...

au contraire, my friend Markoff. A Pally deck with both holy shock and holy shield auto-loses vs my entire gauntlet.

Oh Charles, I knew you'd make Annihilator and Lionheart Helm popular again! ^_^

I think Charles meant because having both Holy Shock and Holy Shield is a little like having both Water Elemental and Blast Wave.

If you set Pinprick against last week’s demonic creation in testing, Mother Misery weeps. She has no way of dealing with the little guy.

Mmm, cant agree with it =) before sideboard its hard to MM to kill Pinprik, but after... =)
