    Graccus

Graccus is up, looks like he's downed Ony, gauging by his sword.

    Re: Graccus

I'll venture a guess, just for fun.  Prot Pally  10 health,  7 def,  2resist,  3 Attack/3tick, Lower Text:  Avengers Shield:  Set Targets clock back 1, and next attack must target Graccus.

I cant wait to see more than just the starter set's figures' stats!

    Re: Graccus

From what I was told he won't have 7 def ;)

Plate standard is 3 armor, cloth armor is one.

I guess therefore plate only has 1 resist, while cloth has 3 resist. I guess leather will be 2/2 ;)

Hodoon only does have 4 armor, because his aura is already included in his stats ;)

    Re: Graccus

Well what about mail armor then? I think Graccus looks really flat, and I thought this game was trying to not do that anymore. They molded his sword arm right into his cape. Phallic the Enlightened is the only mini so far that has really impressed me.

    Re: Graccus

I guess they decided that plate and mail may be regarged as being they same.

When I played the demo I specifically asked if the aura would work on Vindicator itself, and they said something like: "Yes it does work on him, However it is already included into the stats, as normal plate users have 3 armor."

    Re: Graccus

I hope that the stats are not that linear...I just threw some numbers out for fun.  In my version of Graccus, he may have a ton of armor, but he would never kill anything.

As far as Graccus looking flat....I am not the best judge (this will be my first mini's game) but, the article about dynamic figure poses said that other games used many flat figures, with a few dynamic ones.  This game has many dynamic ones, and only a few flat ones.  Graccus' sword may be near the same plane as his cloak, but he still looks hella cool!  He looks like an aggro whore, which is exactly what you want in a tank!  :P

Except it's not that linear(at least for resist), as Lotherin has 2 resist, not 3 like Ruby (both in cloth?), and Hodoon has 2 resist, not 1 like Gorebelly(both in plate?) I think we'll see a bit of variation amongst armor values. Graccus will prob have at least 4 armor, otherwise we'll have a prot spec'd pally w/ a shield with less armor than a holy pally with a 2h weapon =p. 5 seems like it'd be a huge number for a defense roll, but I guess we'll see.

Graccus is a shortass. At 30mm how's he supposed to score with a 45mm babe like irana?

    Re: Graccus

Nice Toby Keith facial hair there Graccus.

This mini is a good example of how WoW's shoulder armor doesn't translate well onto minis.

Not a bad sculpt overall... it seems like the human and BElf faces aren't turning out as good as the other faces though.

    Re: Graccus

I saw this cat at Comic-Con in the giant Ony raid model they had set up at the Upper Deck booth. I thought he looked really good in person, very proportional to the other characters. Good looking mini, overall, imo.

    Re: Graccus

With his cape heroically blowing in the wind, this Alliance Human Paladin mini is ready to defend the motherland.
    Motherland?  Is Graccus Russian now?

    Re: Graccus

Hopefully gracc wields his sword a bit better than hoedown hefts his hammer. Seems like you'd pretty much have to give hodoon 2 action cards (as opposed to instants or reacts) just to avoid using that cruddy hammer as much as possible.

One of the first sculpts I'm not impressed with from this game. I'm really enjoying the look of most of these pieces so far.
