Fields of Honor Sneak Preview Bring-A-Friend Program

Upper Deck is happy to announce a new initiative that will start with the Fields of Honor Sneak Preview. The Bring a Friend program is a great way for players to enjoy the World of Warcraft TCG and at the same time introduce some of their friends to the game. If you have friends that would like to try the World of Warcraft TCG but haven’t found the right time or aren’t sure what event would be the best for them, the Fields of Honor Sneak Preview is a great place to get them started and point them in the right direction.

All you need to do is bring your friend to the Fields of Honor Sneak Preview. If he or she has never played in a sanctioned World of Warcraft event before, you are both eligible for this program. Simply inform the tournament organizer that you have brought a friend with you for the Bring a Friend program, and the TO will give you a very short form to fill out along with a new UDE membership card for your friend. That’s all there is to it!

As a gift for coming down to the event and getting started playing this great game, your friend will receive a free World of Warcraft TCG Starter Deck, and as a thank you for helping to grow our awesome community, you will get three free Fields of Honor booster packs! You’ll receive this gift for each new player you bring down, too, so if you sign up four new players, that’s a half a Fields of Honor booster box for you and a Starter Deck for each of your friends!

The time has never been better to get started playing the World of Warcraft Trading Card Game!

Never played in a sanctioned World of Warcraft event....for a sneak preview of the TCG....am I disqualified for being a Minis player that's never touched the TCG in any sanctioned capacity?
I was thinking about trying out this Sneak Preview as my introduction to the TCG.

Nice idea. Don't have friends who don't play already though. I think that's going to be true of a majority. Maybe some have friends that don't play, but getting them to want to play may be tough.

Cheers.

I really like the idea but honestly my friends either fall into two categories: Already play WoW or have absolutely no interest in the card game whatsoever. Still, this is a great incentive for people who have friends on the fence about starting the game (at the very least, it gives you a reason to bug them more about coming with you).

BTW: Horrible timing for the announcement. If it was a MONTH before the event, it might have made more sense. Stores put up posters. People chat about it at BGs and talk to players of other games in the store to see if they want to play WoW. 2 Days before the event is pretty lousy timing.

Cheers.

If I could get an answer, I could be swayed to make the 3 hour one-way trip.
