DMF Boston Room Rate

Hello Everyone,

We have negotiated a room rate for all DMF Boston attendees at the Sheraton Boston, which is connected to the John Hynes Convention Center where the DMF is being held.

The rate is $179/night. Yes, that is pretty scary, but Boston is a pricey city for hotels, especially in the summer.

If you are interested in staying at the Sheraton and accessing this room block, you will need to call 1-888-627-7054 and mention that you are with the World of Warcraft Darkmoon Faire - Room Block.

The reservation window is open until June 16.

If you have any questions, please post them here.

See you in Boston!

ZOMG!  i'm so glad I have a friend who lives in Boston that i can stay in his guest room.  That room rate would make me sick if I had to pay it.

Thank god I'm planning on Judging! I could never afford to stay at that price if I were a player.

Sadly, even as an employee for a major hotel chain, I can't do much better in Boston (and yet another reason why I hate Boston).  Ian seems to be able to get rooms at about $50 below market rate - and Boston is no different.  Our brands' offerings in the Back Bay abd the Financial District (for employees) is $179 to $209.
This might be one DMF where no one stays close to the event center, and opts for the Courtyards, Fairfields, Garden Inns, and Hamptons near the airport or in the suburbs rather than the full-service hotels near the event.

Did some looking around today, it seems Gordon is spot on. Additionally when I spoke to the reservations rep, she mentioned there aren't many left...so if you want to book it better do it soon.
