Just as QuickSyn did not get into the Silver Age Top 8 despite being the second-most-played deck, not a single World’s Finest deck was represented in the Modern Age Top 8. Instead, Injustice Gang made its mark, being represented by three different players: Wayne Waitman, who went undefeated 9-0 during the Swiss rounds; Topher “TheMadHatter” Langewich; and Cliff Flachsenhor. The rest of the Top 8 consisted of a mono–Spider-Friends build with some Wolverine Legend tech, piloted by Dan Debenham; a Fantastic Four Beats build by Reid “Special_Sauce_Reid” Cox; Shawn Liedle’s Elektra Assassin deck; Revenge Squad Ongoing Beats, piloted by Ludin Romero; and a multi-team special by Joe Bryan that used control/stall to get to Endgame.
