If you are using the current version of Mantis (3.0.27) make sure you have the ''Sanctioned UDE Tournament'' in the ''Tournament Settings'' dialog, and all relevant information filled out (Head Judge, location, etc.)

One note: We will be implementing the new Vista ''best practices'' in future versions of Mantis to solve this problem.

The above answer is partly correct. While Windows Vista does in fact store them in a different physical place that in the same folder as the program, when the program asks for those files, Vista makes it appear that they are in the same folder. The main problem is Windows Vista installs with higher default access than Windows XP, ...

Can you right-click the shortcut you use to launch Mantis, and choose ''Properties''
One option will be ''Win98 Compatibility mode'', can you make sure that is unchecked and try again?

When the tournament is complete, press the ''Close Tournament'' button at the bottom of the ''Tournament'' tab, then select ''Perform Data Uplink'' in the ''Utilities'' menu at the top. Add a check in the box next to ''Report <Your Tournament Name>'' and click ''Perform Tasks.''

If you announce at the start of the tournament that there would be 5 rounds, and when you get there Mantis says there are not enough players, normally you should run the 5th round anyway.
If enough players drop from the tournament, and all the remaining players agree to eliminate the last round, then I think it's ok (email to@upperdeck.com ...
