    Organizer also wants to play.

Ok, my first sanctioned tournament is comming up and I have already made a mistake. As a tournament organizer, I have found out that I cannot play in my own tournament. I already have a sanction ID and ready to go so cannot change this now.

    1. Is there a way I can still play, as it is a small tournament with 5 people, I need to play to make the 6th :)

    2. When adding new players that do not have UDE numbers, yet I have some blank ones, how do  I assign the new players with a UDE # or cant I do this with Mantis?

I am sorry for the questions but I am a newbie in training.

Thankyou in advance for any assistance.

Re: Organizer also wants to play.

    1.  Unfortunately, you, as the Tournament Organizer, are not allowed to play in the event in which you are the TO.  You will either have to find another person to fill up that 6th spot, or simply run the event with only 5 people.  MANTIS will automatically give one person a 'bye' each round if you end up with an odd number.

    2.  If you have blank UDE cards, simply have that player fill out the form that comes with the UDE cards.  You will have to mail the forms in to UDE in order for their information to be permanently entered into the UDE database.  As for your MANTIS install, when you type in the UDE number, if it does not auto-fill in their information, then you simply type that information in to the appropriate sections of MANTIS before hitting the button that adds them to the tournament.
