There are many cards that either say...
- {character(s)] cannot be targeted by effects opponents control.
- {character(s)] cannot be the target by opposing effects. Example: Human Torch - Heralds
You and your characters cannot be the target of opposing effects.
Be the target of...
This kind of dennotes and implies any thing that has to do with the effected object.
Q1. Do these two effects have a difference?
At first, they seem similar to me, but took a closer look and i think that
effects opponents control mean any effect that the opponents control; as for
opposing effects, means effects that oppose you, not effects that target your character to modify their own. (hope this is understandable)
Q2. If the controller of one of these cards cannot be targeted by effects opponents control or cannot be the target by opposing effects, does this mean that i also cannot be
chosen, cannot be effected by opposing effects from hunter characters (even though the giving of the keyword hunted is not opposing, but the effects that effect hunted characters[the effect does not specifically say target but it does mention
MY CHARACTER])?
Q3.Also does that mean I nor my characters can be effected if the effect mentioned in any way in an opposing effect?
