will Polymorph work on Amalar Ironhoof?

Amalar has :

Beserker Rage: Enemies can't move Amalar or tick him up. If Amalar would deal or take damage, he deals or takes that much +1 instead.

Polymorph says:

Add 3 to debuffed enemy. It loses all abilities and can't be targeted by its enemies until the start of its next turn.

So does that mean 3 ticks will be added to Alamar due to the 2nd sentence. It's not an IF and THEN statement so I was thinking that the Berserker Rage will be lost until the debuff is active and hence, 3 ticks will be given to Alamar.

705.1b  If some (but not all) of the ability’s targets are illegal as it resolves, it affects only those targets that are still legal. If some of its text is impossible to perform, only as much as possible is performed.

Citing this from the CR for you, Amalar is not ticked up by the first sentence of Polymorph, because his Berserker Rage prevents it. After that though, he does lose all abilities and cant be targeted by his enemies until the start of his next turn.
