    MANTIS Result Uploading Issue

    When trying to upload an event I ran yesterday, I get an error stating :

    "Failed to Connect. If you are behind a firewall try setting your proxy settings."

    Now this has only just started to happen. I've uploaded results in the past with no issue, so I'm already discarding the firewall settings as I've not changed any settings on my PC or router in any way. I've tried uploading from my PC and my Laptop, I get the same error.

    Any reasons why this would be happening??

    I'm having the very same issue at the moment.

    Fortunately, I can solve this by trying the upload for a second time; it just works then.

    Hello. On a Tournament  at my Local occur the same issue yesterday, when trying to upload an event appear the same error:  

    "Failed to Connect. If you are behind a firewall try setting your proxy settings."

    And trying to upload the event as six times, but never uploaded.

    Can anyone have some technical procedures for this to be solved.

    me to... If so many have the same problem it must be MANTIS that is the problem.. has anyone tried to uninstall MANTIS and reinstall it?

    That day at my tournament, We uninstall then reinstall the mantis but was not solved and remains equal, nothing change.

    Someone have to know how to fix this.......

    I have this same problem, we tried it without our firewalls and similar things active and we tried it on Windows Vista and Windows XP same problem.

    Well I don't know what, if anything, UDE did, but I tried to upload the results today and they went through...

    I am thinking this is having an effect on rankings and ratings overall because they are over a month old now and still climbing.

    It's seemingly happening with all the locals that I have been to since the month of June. I've been to like 8 or 9 tournament over the past 5 or 6 weeks, but none have been uploaded to their page so the ratings could update themselves. My judge/TO said he submitted everything to UDE and had no problems with Mantis. I like seeing my rating go up along with where I rank in state. It would be nice to find out what's wrong. It seemingly started around June 14th...

    These are copies of MANTIS error messages, from uploading of results to verifying which shows there is a processing error. I also received several errors that I was behind a firewall etc!

    The program often comes up with unhandled exception errors and crashes.

    These issues aren't isolated as several TO's in New Zealand are having this problem too, I have emailed TO@UDE to resolve my events as well as get advise as to further action.
    Reinstalling MANTIS will do little good if the receiving software/ Database cannot handle the info and rejects it, in my opinion.
    If we need to reinstall MANTIS then a fixed and improved program needs to be available?
    I would ask other TO's to add a note/ reply to this thread so that a gauge of the extent of the problem can be voiced and we can contribute to a solution, and not add to the problem further.

    I was having the same problem... but at least for me, what I did is: I went into Control Panel -> Firewall -> Exceptions -> Add Program.

    I added Mantis to the exception list and it seems to go through...well at least it says it goes through. It actually going through is another problem...
