Simultaneous triggered powers // Shauna vs. Shauna

At the start of a round, a player controls 2 "Shauna and Wind" and no other heroes.

Would he have to eliminate both of them?
I assume he would because their powers trigger simultaneously and eliminating one for the other won't make its power un-trigger, but I'd like to be sure.

Re: Simultaneous triggered powers // Shauna vs. Shauna

    Huntik Comp Rules:
702.6    If multiple powers try to resolve simultaneously:
    •  Resolve triggered powers on features first. If there is more than one, the lead player decides the order in which they resolve.
    •  If players have more than one triggered power, the lead player resolves all of his or her triggered powers one at a time in the order of his or her choice. Then, the defending player resolves all of his or her triggered powers one at a time in the order of his or her choice.
Since you resolve them one at a time, I would have to say that both copies of Shauna would indeed be destroyed.

Good reference bad ruling. They activate one at a time so you can eliminate 'Shauna and Wind' B for 'Shauna and Wind' A. 'Shauna and Wind' B will then be gone leaving A safe having eliminated a friendly hero.

Re: Simultaneous triggered powers // Shauna vs. Shauna

Well, the problem is, while they are technically not resolved simultaneously, they triggered simultaneously and tried to resolve simultaneously. What this means is, the first Shauna was eliminated "at the same time" her power triggered. And the Comp. Rules say:
702.3    If a triggered power appears or disappears at the same time as the trigger event it’s watching for, it triggers.

The powers are resolved one at a time, but they are not activated one at a time. And according to 702.3, removing Shauna after her power triggered won't make it disappear.

Well, while I'd really appreciate Dan's comment, it's already a very good sign Simon agrees with me :P

I forgot about that reference and the wording on 'Shauna and Wind'. In that case I agree with your ruling.

It's helpful to post the card's text and any references you can find when asking a question.

Simon and Guardian are correct. Both powers trigger and will need to be resolved.
