    "[cardname]" vs. "a [cardname]"

Is there any difference between "[cardname]" and "a [cardname]"?

For instance, does "Lok Lambert, Bold Explorer" ready if chosen for OAL_070 (Stone Glove? I only have it in German, this would be the literal translation)?
The card says "If you choose Lok Lambert, ready him." as opposed to, for example, Omeed's "If a Sand Snake ..."

Yes, there is a difference between the two.

Normally, when something references "[cardname]", it is a self-reference and only applies to that specific card.  And when something references "a [cardname] card" then it is referring to any card with that name in its name.

In this case, though, it may be best to see if Dan can provide the official English text of Stone Glove since I can't seem to find it in the OCR I have.  I would be willing to bet it works on any card with Lok Lambert in it's name.
