OAL Sneak Mission: The puzzle of Rhodes's clock

    Mission and Feature

I used the exhaust action of the Pendulum to make a target ready enemy hero pick up the Object.

If my opponent exhaust his/her hero to swing back, does the hero swing with the Pendulum or just Pendulum on its own?

It looks like only the Pendulum is put into the new zone.  The hero swinging the pendulum remains where it is from what I can tell.

I assumed this, but just to make sure...

    Thanks to all!

I assume the hero may still move while carrying the Pendulum?

Also (and much more important, as I'm really unsure on this one), what happens if I try to have King Basilisk, Zhalia's Heavy Hitter take the Pendulum?
He will cancel my Exhaust Action, but will he cancel all of it or just the part from where he is targeted?
In other words, if I target King Basilisk, will the Pendulum be in KB's zone or stay where it was?

very good point guardian! About the carrying anyway.
From my question a while back, if you target it with flash bulb, you don't draw, it cancel the whole thing, so i assume your guy get exhausted and the pendulum stay where it is. Let wait and see?

Re: OAL Sneak Mission: The puzzle of Rhodes's clock

    1.  I do not see any issue with being able to move while holding the Pendulum.

    Huntik Comp Rules:
704.1    Some powers require one or more targets. These are cards or players that must be chosen when a player attempts to play or use the power. Each target has a target description. A target can’t be chosen unless it meets that description.

701.4    Some action cards cancel other actions. You may play such a card when your opponent attempts to play an action it can cancel, even if it is not your turn. If you do, the playing of that action is completely canceled. A canceled action doesn’t resolve, create modifiers, or trigger powers or modifiers that trigger off that action being played.
    2.  You have to choose all targets when you attempt to play the card, so this is done before you begin to process the text of the card.  And if that power is canceled, then it does not resolve any of it's text or effects.  So that would mean the Pendulum would remain in it's current zone.

And you can see Dan's respsone to Jack's previous question here.

Re: OAL Sneak Mission: The puzzle of Rhodes's clock

As far as the normal rules is concern, you always walk with whatever you picked up, so yes, I assume you CAN move with the pendulum.. it is just this particular mission, walking with the pendulum seem to defeat the point of it, so I am wondering if certain line is missing etc (a bit like the ymir mission with the stunned ice creatures). But, without that extra bit of clarification, I do agree with Simon.

thanks a lot for answering our questions anyway

Re: OAL Sneak Mission: The puzzle of Rhodes's clock

    You can walk with it.
That means you have to be careful when you decide to stick it to another hero or not.
Most of the time you probably won't, but if they are camping a hero with a good exhaust action - like Sentinel - hitting them with the pendulum can force them to make a choice to use the power or fall behind.
