Working on a draw/mill with Warbringer, using get back to works Free Action effect when its in the discard pile, just checking the Action is played.

 

Huntik Comp Rules:

404.1c    These rules apply regardless of which area a card is played from. Cards can be played only from a player's hand unless otherwise specified.

I would venture to guess that Get Back to Work!'s Free Action falls into the 'unless otherwise specified' clause, so I would say yes, it is considered being played from the discard pile.
