Ymir Expert Mission question.

So, I'm having a small issue here.

(Now, I don't have all the things infront of me, so I'm going to shortcut the majority of the names)

I am the lead player, trying to complete the Expert Ymir mission.

Can I still attack Ymir, even if his minions are stunned? Or will they have to actually be KO'd before I can attack Ymir?

My logic was, since stunned heroes are for all intensive reasons not in the zone, then you may attack Ymir, because he says the Minions must be in the zone for him to not be able to be attacked.

My opponent however says, that since I can KO the Minions w/ Ignatius when they are stunned, then they must also be reconized by Ymir as well. Basically saying, if Ignatius knows they are there, then so should Ymir.

Any help would be amazing. ^_^

    Re: Ymir Expert Mission question.

    I agree with your position.

Under "Stun" in the rulebook (pg. 32), it says: "A stunned hero in a zone does not count as being in that zone at all. The hero is effectively removed from the map for this round. "

Since the minions are not treated as being in that zone, "Ymir: Frost King" will not see that they are in his zone nor will they be included in any combat. "Ymir: Frost King's" "Always On" power shouldn't apply in this situation.

"Removing your finger. That's a good power, Uncle Glen. I must have it..."

    Re: Ymir Expert Mission question.

You and Curtis are both correct. If you are able to stun both of the Frost Minions, and later in the same round you can get a Hero into the zone with Ymir, you can aim your attacks at him.

Ignatius' power allows him to KO the Frost Minions in the same way as other cards may have the power "KO target Stunned Hero".

    Ymir now has errata to make this clearer for players;

    Controlled By: Defending Player
Ymir: Frost King can't move on his own.
Exhaust Action: Start a combat in Ymir: Frost King's zone.
Attacks can't be aimed at Ymir: Frost King while an unstunned Frost Minion is in his zone.
