That would suck if it was Hunter-only.  I can't imagine it will be, there just aren't enough cards in there yet to do stuff like that.  But maybe they could have Hunters get an extra bonus from it?  I dunno :P

If they want to do something class-specific, they should do the class epic quests (i.e. for priest staff, hunter bow, etc).

I can assure that Warriors at least can use some kind of bow (maybe not this one, but definatly some kind of ranged weapon). Hunters can use some melees as well.

Yay! My inner hunter is pleased.  From what I've heard, btw, this is the only bow in the first set.

I can't imagine there is only 1 bow in the whole first set. We wouldn't need many right off, but only 1 is too few IMO. But I'm looking forward to this one.

That's just the friend of a friend of a friend rumor I heard.  But, if it's right, you heard it here first!  :-P

I recall reading that a lot of the classes will be able to equip both a melee and a ranged weapon.  So it would be fair to assume that this will be usable by Hunters (obvious), Warriors, Paladins, and perhaps Rogues.

And I shudder at the thought of a Stealthed Rogue opting to use a bow.  May not be the most effective, but prevents you from getting whacked in the process, and no protector to jump in the line of fire.

Paladins cannot equip bows (or any ranged weapon, they use Librams in their ranged slotin the MMO). So no, you Paladin-lovers will need to complain a teensy bit more before you get a preview. :P

I believe it was stated that Warriors would be able to equip ranged weapons in the Flame Wrath preview, being used as a "strike-back" when your opponent attacks your Hero with an exhausted Melee weapon.

By similar arguement, this should allow rogues to equip ranged weapons as well.

No doubt that Hunters will get special bonuses from ranged weaponry. Look at Elendril's Flip power as a basic example. Also, look at Cleave for warriors, showing off their Melee weapon prowess.

I don't play a Paladin on-line, so thus I stand corrected.  Thank you.

I prefer my Warrior, and enjoy my young Priest and Shaman.  : )
