Building for Honor - Sethekk Rising

Building for Honor - Sethekk Rising
    By Corle Huffman

Halloween is coming, and in the spirit of ghosts and ghouls, Corle has a Monster-based team for today. Monsters have to work a little harder, but they can be quite strong!

    Heh. So silly, Corle.

You do have a mistake with Drakefist Hammer / Deep Stunder, though. The activate when the opponent misses all defense rolls, not on a crit. Otherwise they would be baroken. Cold Blood anyone?

Wow Corle, I can't believe you just got me pumped about Sarmoth/Flux teams.  On that note, maybe Sarmoth x2 could be great buddies for Kael'thas to have some fun around.  Demon's Last Stand + Kael'thas' FS for the lols?

    Muhahahaha.

Edit: Too bad hunters will just have a Kael'thas killing spree since Sarmoth can't do diddly about them.  Oh well, it was a fun few minutes of madness.

I hate to correct Mr. Correct, but his Tangent #2 follows a situation explained as Talon lord against a 1 armour defender. Talon Lord packs Sunder Armour and an equipment.  With Sarmoth, Talon Lord has Deep Thunder, but with the Sorc present, Deep is out and Drakefist is in.  In the tangent with the sorcerer present and Drakefist hammer, you technically do get -2T for you and +1 for the defender on a crit.  Even if you don't crit, assuming the defender has no armour or fails any rolls as the example set, you still gain a tick back from the Drakefist Hammer.

It's just as baroken as you suggest it would be, Isgee. It's a soft lock.

    Cheers!

He says the team is 16 honor, but I count either 15 or 17 depending on armor.  Amirite?

Also, here's for hoping for an actual moonkin from the monsters in souls to help those crits.

Re: Building for Honor - Sethekk Rising

BTW, what's the difference between the drake and the thunder in this case (in tangent 2 where you bring both Birds)?  Aren't both a soft lock?  With the drake you are attacking every tick and ticking the enemy up by one, whereas with the DT you are attacking every 2 tick and ticking the enemy up by 2.

I wrote this article so long ago, its hard to remember exactly what I was thinking. Seems to me you are 100% right though, both would be a soft lock.
