I know I haven't put much work in the WoWMinisDb website since it's release. Although I put every mini and ABC in there, the site pretty much stayed the same.

The upcoming months I will have a bit more spare time to tweak the site a bit, so it will be in top shape when the new set comes out.
Since this site exists more for your convience than for mine, I would like to ask you all to respond in this thread with your wishes regarding the site. I will collect the wishes and try to implement as many as possible.

I would also like to know what searchfields you would like. Now it just searches the name. But I was thinking of expanding the searchfilters...

What about adding a tournament section showing the top 8 teams, the ABC’s and the maps/scenarios for events like worlds or realms?

For search fields, I mostly look at Faction, Honor and Class.

I use the site quite often and value its existence, so I appreciate your maintanence of an important community tool.  Some quick thoughts to improve its utility:

If stats/ability/attack are already fields you have in the db, having an optional view (the standard view is fine now, the expanded view you probably want to save for people who are specifically looking for it) that shows the abilities and attacks in spreadsheet form makes searching/constructing teams easier.  Right now, quick comparison of two or more cards is not as easy as it could be.

With a detailed-card view of multiple cards at once, then expanded search results to include class/race restrictions becomes more useful as I can then see all of the Mage cards (which I do now by going to ABCs and sorting by class) and what they do briefly without having to click through on each one.

The ABCs probably need an invisible miscellaneous categorization in case there are cards that do not fall under your seven types (Snowsong, heroic leap, dispel, etc.), but someone wants to find it quickly.

More than one sortable column has been my only wish as well.  Mostly I want it by class, but need to remain in the faction.  If it was not sortable multiple ways, then maybe a faction page or a class page and I could sort it from there.

Again I am on this very very often because it is done so well.

First off, good to hear you enjoy the website.

That is one of the things that bothered me as well, so I will definately try to add multi-column sorting.
Also I will fix the part that when you click previous in your browser it will reverse the sorting.

Just a small idea, but I'll post it anyways: if card restriction for talents would be noted 'class - talent' instead of 'talent - class', the cards will sort out with all the class-specific cards together instead of the talents seperate.
Also, a class restriction on equipment would be nice too, tho I don't know the current system actually allows for it.
Anyways, thank you so much for al the effort already spent on the project. I really appreciate it, and I think I'm not alone at that.

While thinking ahead I put the data in as many field as I could possibly do without creating useless fields :) . So all stats are in their own fields. For an optional view I was thinking it would be kinda neat to give the user the option to add columns. So all the would have to do is select a column from a drop-down-list and press the add button :)

Please elaborate a bit about the class restrictions on equipment?
What do you want me to do with it? Show them in the list?

And about what the system does or doesn't allow: it allows almost anything. I used all my software engineering skills when building the database so I would be able to mutate the data in every possible way, even the ways I didn't think of at the time :)

About the class - talent en the talent - class: I currently have them posted as they are on the card. But I think I can think of a neat little trick that groups the cards by class :)

I was thinking about that.

I think I will add a database with different maps. And then link from there to the teams that scored high on those maps. And of course, the other way around...

Although I will probably have to recruit some help for all the data ;)

I'll echo the praise of the others on this thread: Thank you so much for providing this resource! I use it all the time, and it's tremendously helpful.

I also have a wish to add to the wishlist. I'm not sure how to go about it (I don't know anything about programming), but I wonder if it would be possible to do some party-building on the site.

For instance, I've searched for an Alliance mage and settled on Irana...then I could click on an "Add to Party" button and then go searching for my other two characters and add them in the same way. And then, during this process, I could click on the "ABCs usable by this character" links (great feature, by the way!) and also choose my ABCs. Then save the thing (perhaps in a .txt format) and download it to my computer.

Would that be possible, or is it beyond the scope of what you had in mind? I imagine that it would be a lot of work, but I think it could be amazing. I know that if I had access to something like that, I'd be using it almost daily.

Anyway, thanks again for starting this thread, and for making and updating the database.

Add maps. Don't make it too complicated to use.

Characters: damage/tick ratio, card text, honor (<=/>=/=), class, faction, melee/magic attack, armor, resist,  health, race

fo ABCs: class, type (buff, debuff, attack, equip), tick cost, attack damage, honor (0 for non-equipments)
