Mini's has Died in my area so everything must go....

Well the game has died in my area so I am selling my collection. I have every core and spoils mini. Multiples of all Battleground figs except for Jezbella which I have one. I also have the Deathwatcher, Mortimer, and the quest guy. I have doubles of many figs so you will get great trade stock. Also included at least 9 of blue, red, and green bases.
I also have 2 of each deluxe map, a vinyl winterspring map, and a couple battle ground maps. All opened cards with come in a binder in card sheets. Also I have one of every crafted card except the drakefist hammer but I have plenty of resources that will be included so you can craft more cards. Including mini guns most are unredeemed.
I am looking for $350 dollars plus S/H which I will get figured out when I have a buyer. I will also take offers on other prices or I am looking for D & D minis/ 4th edition books. So pm with questions....

Sounds like you have enough of a collection to loan figs to friends so they can play you. Your friends don't have to own Monopoly to play Monopoly with you, right? I realize there are significant differences between the 2 games, but no reason you can't provide the figs at the start of a play session with a friend just like you'd provide the shoe and the doggie if it was your copy of Monopoly.

This is what I do.  I've got probably 3 or 4 friends who play but I'm the only one that actually owns any figures.  I've got a large enough collection that my friends can borrow armies to play with as well.

I know how daomoose feels.  And while your analogy is correct regarding Monopoly, you do have to have other people that want to play.

Such is my case - I could loan people minis to play with, but what if I have no one to loan them to?  That is our problem.

i for one will not be the guy who buys everything and lets any number of people freeload off my collection. i dont mind in tournaments lending stuff out here and there, but like constantly to the same people all year... well i better get a sizeable chunk of the prizes they win (if they win any).

I don't quite see it the same way that you do.  Personally, I love this game and I'd invest in it regardless of if my friends played.  The fact that they hang out and play minis is fine with me.  To me it's irrelevant whether they are my minis or theirs.  The only thing I'm concerned about is just hanging out and having fun playing minis.  As far as getting a chunk of their winnings, I wouldn't give them anything if I won, so why should I expect anything from them if they win?

LOL well I am glad I could start a good debate. I love mini games do not get me wrong but for the most part they are a fickle thing. All I have to do is stare at my 3 tackle boxes full of mechwarrior minis to know that. WOW is a good system with a couple of flaws like them all but it just did not make it in my area. The only mini game that has seemed to survive to a extent other then a couple of dedicated Warhammer players is Axis & Allies.
I tried to keep the WoW alive in my area but I just could not do it. I get two to three guys maybe on Sunday and that is it. Now they are gone even the shop is pretty much giving up on it. So I will jump ship while I can. Hmmmm maybe I should be looking for some Axis & Allies minis LMAO....

You mention that the store is starting to give up.  I have noticed the web site for local store no longer has minis listed any more.  They used to be a major dealer of cheap boosters and singles, but that's all taken down.  May be temporary...don't know.

I'm also another who has every mini in my collection together with some duplicates here and there. I tried to get friends into it with me, while 1 friend get enthusiastic for three months or so, at the recent SEACC he felt he was completely defeated by dice rolls and decided to gave up. And decided that he was gonna spend time+resources on MtG instead now that my other friends are into it too. I felt that this kinda things happen in every game, like how you can get land screwed in MtG, but he decided it was reason enough for him to give up on minis. Sets me thinking if he actually put in some money into collecting minis with me then he could have kept going. After this experience i'm not entirely sure if i can still be as positive about things like JerryDamage01 now.
