Is it just me or is Warlocks seeming to favor suicide black in magic? Not saying its a bad thing just from reading the cards that seems to be the way warlock deck are going. I'm sure there is a chance the ally warlock will be destruction tho.

    Re: Warlock's Infernal

i think the most exciting thing about the infernal is the little one damage to each ally and hero at the end of your turn. It adds really much control power to the warlock arsenal.

Horde WL will be Demonology and Alliance WL will be Affliction. But I bet the next set will have a Destruction WL.

If he can survive that long. I think those warlock decks need many many protector-allies in it. :)

    Re: Warlock's Infernal

Worth noting the Infernal deals fire damage. Pumpable by card effect, hence could quite easy toast a lesser ally staight off at the end of turn.
Given half a Warlock's arsenal is fire based already, Eye of Flame and similar looks tasty for them as well as Mages.

    Re: Warlock's Infernal

The Infernal and Dark Pact seem quite good.  Assuming the infernal kills anything it gets into combat with (which it probably will), the 1-card loss a turn isn't a big deal.  If the infernal dies, you don't need to worry about the discard.  Dark Pact is pretty ridiculous as far as card drawing goes.  I mean, I hope they know what they're doing because if a card like that showed up in Magic it would get banned before it even got to the printers.

Of course, card drawing is handled differently in this game it seems...  a land that you can pay three mana to draw a card once in Magic would also be way overpowered, but look at the quests in this game.

He says it in the article :P

Luckily, when you line up the 6 ATK, 6 health, and 6 resource cost, you have the number of one beast of an ally.

    Number of the Beast anyone?

Maybe he is refering to the Infernal being the devil or strong as the devil.
Or he is refering to 6+6=12+6=126 ? ( don't count it for yourself ^^ ) which would be card #126 Helwen? But maybe there is some conspiracy  going on and the Infernal is printed in orange on every 666th one dollar bill ???

    Re: Warlock's Infernal

With the Horde Warlock being demonology spec, dark pact is absolutely useless since it requires an Affliction hero...I could care less that the Alliance lock is affliction spec (I'll never play alliance), but why does the Horde get screwed! I hope there is some other card like dark pact for the Horde lock to use.

Well its hardly horde getting screwed.  Every spec is going to get some cool cards only they can use otherwise there is no point to a spec.  Look at druids only feral get predatory strikes which by the picture I'm thinking will be the horde druid (bear has horns).  At only one of each class for each faction that means each faction will get left out of a cool effect 7 times (8 if you include pally and shaman).  Each set will release more and eventually horde will get an affliction warlock.  Besaides I'm guessing demonolgy will get something really cool anyway.
