    Favorite dice-rolling maneuver

It's late in the round, and you're in a tight matchup.  You're devoting all of your mental prowess to defeating your opponent, and you can tell you're getting the best out of him.  The game is drawing a bit of a crowd.  Your dice have been average, up until now; nothing to complain about, but nothing spectacular.  A critical roll comes up, and you know you need a better roll than the standard bowling toss, or even topspin.  What do you do?

Some people stand up.  Some people go with an extra couple shakes in the clutch.  A lot of people give their dice a pep talk.  But true stars of the game come up with something more.

My favorite so far was yesterday, at around tick 20 something in the final matchup.  Mike Pozgay, in one swift motion, gets up out of his chair, torso-twists 90 degrees to his right, raises his knee in that direction, then sends the dice back over his knee, all while calling out "shadowbolt".  5/5 successes.

P.S. In order to claim my top spot, Pozgay's "shadowbolt" had to knock out Ming Zhang's call of "tiger uppercut" from Charlotte.

Poszgay was a really fun opponent. I haven't read my feature match yet (how conceited do you think I am?) so I wonder if they wrote down all the funny stuff he was doing ("Come on Mortimer, you're cool. 5 and crit, 5 and crit.", or throwing the dice and going "Shazzam!").

Made it feel less bitter to be beaten 22/18 to 27 (26?)/25. Yeah, both of us got over our point total during allocated time, in a Mortimer matchup. Craaaazy.

    Re: Favorite dice-rolling maneuver

I don't really have a maneuver that I do, but there have been times where I will pick up the dice and be overcome with a certainty that they will roll bad, so I set those dice down and pick up different dice.
