The Gladiators - Boston Under Siege

The Gladiators - Boston Under Siege

When you look back, new sets have always produced at least one new deck, but even some of the most powerful cards haven't made immediate impacts.

I suspect a Orc Warlock with Orgrimmar + Kazamon + Rehgar and HESRIANA to be popular!

Best ranking at weekly draft : 4th (5 showed up and I got a bye :D)

0-4 drop at worlds (pairings suck)
Once won a game in DMF, my opponent didn't show up.

Re: The Gladiators - Boston Under Siege

Hmm that orc warlock is a good idea. However, I suspect that at Boston, no deck will "be popular" other than Black Ice, Plague, etc. Basically any new deck will have some players maybe up to 5 from a team. But no one else really thought of that deck and they played their own creations. So maybe some people will play orc warlock but maybe no one thought of it in time to prepare it and test it. Who knows?

I'd venture to guess that something we haven't seen before will take at least 1 spot in the top 8, and then that will become the new deck of the format.

Druids with Will of forsaken + Gift of Nature

Undead Priests running Will of forsaken mobs and Bringer of Death + "A New plague"

Druids with Resource destruction or for that matter Rouges that has the new mighty Carnage for rush.

Well now my Crystal ball got cloudy again.. Only getting reruns of Drew Carey shows.

Really? Druids with WoTF? Dev'thir is the best of the bunch, but you need an Undead Hero.

Bonewall Simms with Dethvir Pumps (Enduring Shout, A Final Sacrifice).  Essentially the Armor Deck that Lanky built but more control heavy with the nice abilities Prot Spec offers.

Trains, Planes, or Automobiles...you better have my DOUGHnuts.

Re: The Gladiators - Boston Under Siege

I still don't understand why people can't seem to mention the warlock control deck without the name Brad Watson in the same sentence, pardon my ignorance but wasn't it a different guy who took the deck to the final of DMF Turin?

There's a simple formula you can use to predict the return of Desecrator rush.

If Black Ice exists in the meta, then Desecrator rush can't.  Period.

Just keep adding syllables. I'll tell you when to stop.
