As the owner of a retail store, I typically look for "lots/collections" of cards that I might be able to resell to our local player base (which simply keeps growing). If you have a collection, we're certainly interested in taking a look.
We also take any rare or epic for 10 cents, no questions asked (they can be sucky); so if you want to dump your Veteran's Pendants, Sacred Moments, and Hearthstones, hey - we can pick those up too.
We only have one stipulations which may balk you:
- If you have an excessively high trade rating (like Kyusuke) I'll probably be okay with paying you up front. However, the majority of the types of things we'll be will be in the hundreds of dollars, and I'd rather receive first and pay later.
Why is this?
Well, I own a retail store. You know where I work. You can seriously damage the reputation of my store if I don't pay you. You know my phone #, address, and my other information (since I have to send you my shipping information, and my store information is everywhere). On the other hand - I don't know who you are, and if you decide not to send me the cards, I have to go through a lengthy "recover my money" process - and it might not even work (if you're sleazy enough) - essentially I will have no impact on your life if you decide to take my money and run.
If you can work with this, I'd love to see what you have to offer. I've been browsing around the various threads and I've seen that there are many things for sale - but I'm not sure what's been sold sometimes and what hasn't.
Meeting face-to-face is possible too - you can come up to the store (Victoria, Canada), or you might find me at various events - I may be going to GenCon this year, for instance.
