no theme to it but let me know what you think

    Elendril
    Hunter's Mark
    Call Old Bones

    Irana
    Ice Block
    Soul Seeker

    Graccus
    Bulwark of Azzinoth
    Flash of Light

Basically Irana is the hard hitter and when shes adjacent with Elendril its pretty hard to miss along with a soul seeker has a good possibility of one shotting ppl with a health count of 10 or less.

I would also use Elendrils Hunter's Marks first so just in case any of those one or two rolls did show up a possible reroll can happen.

He could also finish ppl off if Irana hasnt already destroyed them or he could start the attack and do a bit of damage so Irana can have a little miss cushion if the health count was high.

Graccus and Old Bones are my defense during the times they are both on cool down with taunt and protector from both sides it would be a while before they can hit Irana and Elendril directly.

With Iranas Ice Block is the defense against fatal damage, yeah it will only delay but until then she is unattackable and would give graccus enough time to throw a flash of light into the game.

So far the weaknesses i have seen are against rogues, you cant react to their attacks.

    What do you guys think.

Re: no theme to it but let me know what you think

Ice Block seems redundant if you're going to play Bulwark. Instead I suggest playing Arcane Flux, which will give you better mileage out of Soulseeker (also, check on the wording, it could possibly be good with Flash of Light, I just don't remember if it only works on attacks or if it can be used with Heals).

OTOH, Bulwark is a terrible card with Graccus. Blessing of Sacrifice already means your opponent is likely to target Graccus first instead of your other figs. Further, it's basically a blank ability if you're going to be using Protector. I suggest either playing Savin (he's a better Protector/Taunter than Graccus, and Blessing of Wisdom might be useful with Irana) with your Bulwark, or switching Sulfuras in place of Bulwark. Graccus benefits a lot more from Sulfuras, dealing 1 point of damagefor every time his Blessing of Sacrifice triggers and replacing his terrible attack with a decent one.

I think with Irana your best bet is Savin, though. Graccus is better as part of a team that has high defenses across the entire team, and suffers greatly from being paired with clothies.

As for Elendril, he also screams 'play me with Savin' due to his 1 Resist. Replace Old Bones with a good pet, like Fury. You already have a defender.

Bulwark with Graccus is not good.  Graccus shines as a hidden protector.  He takes the damage out of LOS while a beefier defender takes the actual hit itself.

sweet thanks for the input guys ill try that out and see what happens. Now I have a question would that team be a good arena team or if going arena i should use a legendary?

Re: no theme to it but let me know what you think

I quite like the trio, though knowing my own play style I would use quite different ABC's.
    Probably something like:

Elendril - Hunter's Mark, Arcane Shot, Call Old Bones
Irana - Soulseeker, Arcane Flux, Mana Potion
Graccus - Avenger's Shield, Hammer of Wrath, Flash of Light

Maybe even try out Flamestrike/Polymorph with Irana, so that she could Poly someone then Graccus and Irana go to town with the AOE's.
Arcane Flux is nice for all those tasty crit effects.
But then, I like to run Graccus as an aggro caster who doubles as a meat shield for the fragile guys, who then get more attacks. The offensive approach.
Soulseeker on Irana is pretty cool.
But you will be in big trouble once Graccus goes down, and it doesn't usually take long for that to happen, especially with Irana's 1 armor and Elendril's 1 resist.
Whenever I build a team like this, I then look at the cheapest Honor variant - e.g. could this work with Ruby, Elanna, Magdeline?
Just my two cents (probably not even worth that).

If you're thinking soulseeker, somebody with a high attack tick cost does not make soulseeker effective. May i suggest that if you're sticking to irana then use savin instead of graccus so that at least u can make use of blessing of wisdom to make irana attack more.

Re: no theme to it but let me know what you think

Personally I wouldn't rely too much on Irana to deal damage, having only 1 damage dealer in the party doesn't work out for me unless you intend to camp out VP.

Re: no theme to it but let me know what you think

For some inexplicable reason, Savin, Irana, Graccus appeals to me. *tongue firmly planted in cheek*

Savin with Bulwark is a monster, particularly if he's just standing there as a damage shield and mana helper.  Graccus can work some great magic to keep Savin up a couple times a round or more with good flash rolls and Arcane Brilliance while Irana blows crap up with Flamestrike, her main attack, and some utility spell.

    Cheers!

Re: no theme to it but let me know what you think

your two pally team totally detroys the main point of the team.

I use Elendril to make 3s a hit instead of a miss. rolling 8 dice per attack a few 3s tend to pop up.

Yesterday I used Irana, Elendril and Savin instead of Graccus i also changed the ABC's up a bit we only use 2 ABC's as having three we thought it was too OP. but i replaced Iranas Ice Block with a mana potion and WOW killing two toons by the 4th turn was too OP haha and one of my friends toons was lady vashj.

My buddy wanted to play a Naga team. I shot his wavecaller first on the second tick killing it instantly and with mana pot and BoW, the attack was only a mere two ticks. Then when Vashj did some return damage but nothing deadly so i took 2 damage off her on the third tick with Elendril and put a Hunter's Mark on her as well, and on the 4th turn when my Irana was ready to dish out a world of hurt finished off vashj with one unlucky roll of a 1 and no crits but thanks to Hunter's mark I got it, taking her off the board winning me 8 VP points. After that it took us a while to catch up with the tidecaller and by the time Irana was up again the others would spawn back in, so we camped his graveyard just waiting.

Re: no theme to it but let me know what you think

1shotting a 1-3-7 with irana's attack requires some crazy good dice rolls. if the wavecaller has had a chance to flamestrike on tick 2/3 maybe things wld have gone very different i suppose. vashj wld have soften targets to pick out after the third piece has also made his attack, as opposed to what your buddy did with vashj(attacking first).

Re: no theme to it but let me know what you think

So, you got a perfect roll against the wavecaller with irana, then you got a perfect roll against Vashj with irana.  Basically, you got lucky.  Even hitting on threes, those were very lucky rolls.

And you are right, teams with two paladins destroys the focus of your team, but many people (including me) believe two paladins is a superior team.

    Good luck with your team.

Re: no theme to it but let me know what you think

If your going to spend the honour for soul seeker, you want to increase the odds of a crit. Include either Master Tactician (with a survival hunter instead of Elendril) or Arcane flux.

Bulwark of Azzinoth works best on Savin Lightguard.

    Personally I'd replace Elendril with a survival Hunter {master tactician & hunter's mark}

And give Graccus, Avenger's Shield instead of the equipment. A 99% crit from Avenger's shield played with Master tactician. ticks-up a lot of enemies.

Re: no theme to it but let me know what you think

I personally dont think elindril synergizes well because hunters are very weak for cost if your not using 4 range effectivly. Also I doubt your ability to use trueshot and equipment well. Beacause equipment is so specailized I think the only ones that can be used regularly are bulwark and crit boots. bulwark however is not useful on graccus since he already has a defenseive trait and he likes both his ABCs open. What I think you can change is add phadulus for graccus and a different mage (possible the new one or ruby) with a defensive card.

Hope this helps and please ignore speling mistakes

    thanks for reading:)
