Hey I just moved to Portland, OR from the Mid-west.  All my friends play the WoW TCG back in Iowa and I was curious if anyone here is from Portland or know of a good place to play in the surroundings.  Thanks!

Welcome to WoW TCG purgatory. There is absolutely no OP here. Sometimes by chance some folks in Tualitin meet up at a store called Ancient Wonders. Also there is a chap who is trying to get something started at Gamer's Guild in Portland. I haven't heard too much success on that front.

There's also the Regional Q's and Realm Q's that happen in the Portland Area.  Unfortunately, I agree with the previous poster, in that OP is seemingly non-existant in the Portland area.  I'm from Washington and try to come down to Portland for the qualifiers.  Hope to see you there!

Actually, you went to Guardian Games Luke.  We started out that playgroup late this summer and we're up to about 15 players now.  Yeah, you read that right, 15 players.  Keep coming on Sunday nights 5pm-8pm at Guardian Games.  We like raiding.  We do occasional drafts and are headed in all sorts of directions.

Thanks kobradin, for the correction. Yeah, Guardian Games seems like a great place for a weekly meet up. Raiding and team games are fun, but hopefully we can get some more competitive players to join.

I just have to warn you, but 3/4 of our playgroup are casual players who enjoy raids.  I understand that there are competitive players in our group, but the majority of us are casual players who enjoy raiding and fun play.  A lot of us are new players who don't have a lot of experience.  I'm not saying that we wouldn't do the occasional tournament or sealed or draft event, but this is not where I feel the majority of us get enjoyment from the game.  There are opportunities for competitive players to get tournaments and competitive events around here, check out the cascade games website.
