    Q about metalmorph and retainer's blade

    I have retainer's blade.  My opponent uses metamorph on it.  Then I play a new retainer's blade and destroy the old one.  Do I get to use the power of the retainer's blade to destroy an ally when it is destroyed even though it had metalmorph on it when it got destroyed?

    Attach to target equipment. <p> Ongoing: Attached equipment loses and can't have powers and can't be exhausted.
    Since Retainer's Blade doesn't have any powers, you cannot use it to destroy an ally.

    His question was more about which gets destroyed first when Retainers Blade is destroyed? The blade or the Metalmorph. So, what's the answer Aragorn. Both simultaneous, right, so Metalmorphs effect is still there when RB gets destroyed.

    If that's the question then the reasoning is that since the power was inactive directly before the event, the power does not trigger. My apologies if I misunderstood the initial question.
    Comprehensive Rules:
    703.4    A triggered power uses the game state immediately before an event to determine whether that event matches the trigger event it’s watching for.
