1. The quests that i have are they good ones? which ones should i get more of?

2. Well from what i take from reading numerous threads is, Rush-is quick kills, Beat down- taking them down over time and Aggro is (i am not sure of), am i right on any of those?

3.Whats the difference between control deck and combo deck?

4. Solo or allied based. I would like a deck where i have means to protect my hero for best survivabilty there is, but not gimp on crushing the opponent.

 

Overall i would like a deck that is: wear the opponent down over time, have great survivability and have a great finisher.

Remember, i am learning the game so i need a deck that is friendly to that and I wont get crushed in the first 2 or 3 turns...cant learn that way can you?

Ok, from the looks of things you are a new player with a limited card base.  Most decks have the following things in common:

1. 10-14 quests ( you can use anything as a resource, so there isnt as much of a need as in magic)

2.  Any card that you want to see reliably you want to have 3-4 in the deck.  If it costs more than 6
      or 7 resources, you can cut it down to 2.  This adds to the ability of ""seeing"" the cards when
        you want them so theat you can play them.

3.  At least 1 win condition.  A lot of decks also use an alternate win condition to back it up just
       in case that original one gets blasted.

That being said, if you look at your decklist, you many 1 of's (cards that the deck contains only 1 of).  If you find the better cards for your strategy, which seems to be rush (many smaller allies curving to larger ones later) and make them easier to find during play by putting multiple copies in the deck, you will win more.  With 2 starter decks of dark portal and/or Hero's of Azeroth, you might want to look into buying a few more packs of newer cards such as Servants of the Betrayer, Hunt for Illidan, and March of the Legion. IAllthough it does look like you have been buying a few.   If you go to this website... www.wowtcgdb.com  you can see almost every card made or about to be made.  That way you can find what cards you think will be the best to make your strategy work.  You can go to ebay or trade locally for the more rare cards that are harder to pull in packs. If you look through this area (strategy and decklists) on the website you can look to see how the other paladins are doing it, and maybe see how they are supposed to work.  Have fun and good luck!!

seems kinda jank but its ok for starts. My best advise is to play it alot and see what works. If you are drawing Card X and wish it was Card Z, drop it and add another Card Z and vise versa. Get a fun solid deck and then start developing tech and win conditions and whatnot

Let's start with Quests.

Big Game Hunter + Zapped Giants in this deck doesn't look right. Your deck is Ally rich, so you would strike out with these quests more than not.

If you want to go with that type of Quest, go with Kibler's Exotic Pets. But you might not really want to run those, because they'd put your equipment and abilities at the bottom.

A great utility quest that would work perfectly in here is Information Gathering. Run 4 x Information Gathering.

With lots of allies, maybe go to 3 x Tabards of the Illidari.

Chasing-a-me is fine if you're going to run some big allies. Up this to 2 or 3.

If you are going to run some big allies (King Magni etc.) then you may want to dig for them in your deck. The Missing Diplomat is what you need. Maybe drop It's a Secret for these

So, you might run something like:

There's a solid 15 quests for you.

It looks like you are about halfway towards a good deck..

cards like avengers shield, hammer of naru, holy shield, hammer of justice, etc are all great...

Cards like galway steamwhistle, freeya lightsworn, truesilver breastplate etc are not very good

Best thing I can suggest to you, is click on the "event coverage" section of the main website, and take a look at some of the decks that are winning major tournaments...

Chances are, if they are playing a card, its a good card.... we can worry about synergy later.

Truesilver Breastplate costs 6. Is it the key card for the deck? How many times will your hero be dealing damage? Cut the number down to 1 or 2.

Hammer of the Naaru - a really good weapon. You've got it, so use it.

Vindicator's Brand - Not a fan of just 1 in a deck. If you have more, put them in. If not, maybe choose some other lower cost utility weapon. If you're on a low budget and have limited card pool, maybe you've got a few Krol Blades you could use here.

Edgemaster's Handguards. Why? Any weapons you're running cost at most 1 to strike.

Draconian Deflector. A good card.

Mediallion of the Lightbringer  - Presumably that's 'Lightbearer', right? How many Inspire Allys are you running? This can be cut unless you're running plently of them.

Consider Borak's Belt of Bravery. That's a good card that can fit in here. Run a couple.

No other specific suggestions. Just run a few good equipment, and then try to run a splash of different armor that has different requirements (Legs, Waist, Chest, off-hand etc.).

I presume you don't have other High End Paladin weapons such as Wraith Scythe, Thunderfury etc.

Yes,Lightbearer,lol.  I looked over my allies and from what  see is thee are no Inspire ally's. The card was been cut.

well i was looking at the events and the closest to me in the realm qualifier is scarsdale and brooklyn.

From what u take my deck wouldnt be able to do it cause my hero is from HoA, am i right?

 

best date i see for me would be in Nov. If my deck could work, i would like to get it done way before that so i can playa few games some where and see how i do.

 

any thoughts?
