Dragon's Breath vs. Black Temple Faces

So, can the boss heroes from Black Temple raid deck be "blanked" by Dragon's Breath? I played one on the Face of Despair (or, whichever the first face is) when the face had 4 damage on it. This was in response to the boss player declaring an attack on our Troll Warrior Tank. I did it so that the beastie would not get +15 attack while attacking, but it in fact got killed when our warrior dealt combat damage to it.

My question is: Since the face now has no powers, what happens when it dies? The text on the boss says that if it would be destroyed, switch it with Face of Desire instead (or something like that) so since it was destroyed without the 'switch to face 2' text, does that mean this boss is dead and we move on to the next one?

    Thanks in advance!

Re: Dragon's Breath vs. Black Temple Faces

    Raid Rules:
R101.3a Bosses can be destroyed only by fatal damage. Opposing modifiers can’t turn a Boss over or remove its powers (unless that Boss is the source of the modifier that does so).
As quoted from the official Raid Rules document, opposing modifiers cannot remove the powers of a Boss.  So Dragon's Breath could be used to deal damage to a Boss, but would do nothing to remove its powers.

    Magneto:
We are the future, Charles; not them.

I figured that would be too easy. Geez, this raid is difficult. I don't see how it is possible with only three players as is recommended in the rule book.

Thanks for the answer, though. Back to the drawing board.
